Have stayed here a few times in the past and was traveling through so we decided to stay again. We were checking in just as the night clerk was coming on duty about 11:00pm and this is where it went down hill. We had booked online as we normally do. The night clerk asked me to swipe my card and just as I did so, I received notification from my card company that the charge was approved. The not so nice man advised me that my payment didn't go through and told me to swipe it again. I told him that I knew it did go through and I was not going to swipe my card a second time. Very rudely, he told me that I could go someplace else if I wanted but he couldn't check me in until I ran my card again. After trying to explain that my card had processed the payment, even calling the card company , he refused to check us in or issue a refund on my card. I ended up running the card a second time and guess what? That's right, I was charged again the same amount... Fast forward to the next morning when there was another young lady working and I explained to her what had happened. She was able to reverse one of the charges without any problem. I was able to contact the owner and I expressed to him everything that had happened. He assured me that he would address this with the night shift clerk.
