It was nice. We especially enjoyed the balcony with the view of the river. I was disappointed that there was no water in the pool and no ice in the ice machine . I would stay there again though.

I WAS BASICALLY ROBBED OF $57.00 FROM TRIPS.COM AND LLOYDS ON THE RIVER MOTEL. AND I CANCELED THE ROOM WAY AHEAD OF CHECK IN TIME. THIS POLICY IS WRONG CAUSE PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOMES WILL GET ROBBED IF THEY BOOK WITH TRIP.COM AND THEN CANCEL. I WANT MY $57 BACK ASAP/

We knew this place was old, but never imagined it would be as run down as it was. There was hair on the pillows and bathroom sink, brown splashes dried around the toilet, the paint was peeling from the bathtub, there was no smoke detector, the comforter and pillows had stains, and there were brown stains along the wall near the bed. When we informed the front desk that we would like to check out and receive a refund due to this, we’re were told we could not get a refund and they refused to be helpful, only offering a different room. Will never go back.

The person who checked us in was frigid and rude but the room was nice. Won't stay again but nice property. Horrible service.

A little outdated, but charming. The back deck is everything! to be able to sit, and hear the river is a great asset to this property. Not crowded is another pro. Picnic tables, and charcoal grills available not to metion pet friendly. Small room, but very comfortable with a cabin vibe. Also larger mini fridge than most hotels provide, and microwave. Staff is nice as well. Great place to stay if you want to get away from crowded hotel's and do your own thing, and not spend a fortunate. They have traditional keys so no worries about the key reader not working! Just ask for extra pillows and a few towels. Will be staying again.

Nice scenic location especially with the river behind property. Very clean.
Needed a blanket or two placed in each room.
Young man who checked me in on 3/1/24 was very pleasant and professional.

Broken shower tiles, tub had multiple patches/bondo, broken cold tub knob, broken shower head so new one installed at chest level which wasn’t very functional for my 6’3” husband, thin curtains let too much street light and balcony light into room, one bed lamp didn’t work, missing bathroom caulk, door looked like it had been broken into with crowbar, overall just looked run down.

Couldn't beat the price for a stay of one night. Close to Cherokee and all other activities. Would stay here again.

It was perfectly clean and cozy. Location was great for us. The river was cool. The place definitely could use some updates. we would stay again.
