Royal Decameron Complex - All Inclusive

Only issue was 1 king bed for 3 guests.

It was a beautiful area. The staff was great. I didn't like the fact that we had to provide our own transportation for our excursions. Taxi's got to be expensive. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room wasn't sound proof at all. I got woke up every single night by loud people outside and in the next room. We didn't go to any of the restaurants other than the buffets because they filled up too fast. The 8:00 a.m. time to make a reservation wasn't convenient at all. Especially since you could only book for the current night.

Other than being close to the sea, this hotel wasn't very attractive. The room facilities were outdated from the 70's, the lighting wasn't working properly, the bedding linens weren't washed and looked like they had been thrown away. The food selection was poor and tasteless. This was below expectations, but the staff were quite friendly. My wife and I traveled all over Mexico every year around this time, and this hotel seems to be visited by many retirees who like value for money. I had good memories of previous visits, so I came back to Puerto Vallarta. I think hotel selection is important.

This resort is out dated, rooms are in poor condition, the light in bathroom above sink was not even attached to the ceiling, its a joke trying to get a ala carte resturant, i would like to say the staff is what makes the difference in this resort i will not be back recommend this place, i'm sure theres much better for the same price.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 days and we enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very delicious and varied. The beach was nice and clean. The only advice I would like to offer is to reconsider restaurant booking . If you like to sleep until 8:00 am or longer, it's not going to work out for you.

Liked to down to earth feel. Didn’t like the crowds.

Halfway through our week the resort filled up. This resulted in long lines, and food trays empty at the buffet. We didn’t have a chance to try any a La carte restaurants because the app is cumbersome to use and could never get through to book any reservations. The wifi is poor, even in building 4. The best thing about the resort is the location to walk to downtown Bucerias.

This was our second time here. We had an upgraded safe, we accidentally locked ourselves out of it halfway through and then tried all the default codes and none worked. We needed to wait until the next day (which was fine, we prepare for things like this) and a man came in and took the front off and used specialized technology to get in. It felt very secure. Security did enforce the "no reserving chairs" rule, by removing towels, so that was ok, we actually got chairs. We noticed so many reserving, then never showing up. One large group would reserve, then go on an excursion, to the frustration of others. So they started enforcing after someone complained on the fb page and that made it easier for those who showed up, to get loungers. *There could be more loungers but they are transitioning them out, so may take some time. The buffets have a good selection, average food, we did just fine eating there and rather enjoyed it. If the drinks are watered down, it sure isn't much, according to our liver reports. 🤭 I ran disinfectant cloths over several surfaces, including exterior handrails, they were amazingly clean. Our maid was wonderful. Any staff we encountered was wonderful, even dealing with some "towel reserve Karens" with a smile. The resort should be very pleased with those they have hired. As with many, even higher star resorts, the pillows were a bit wanting and the beds a bit hard but we still slept well. We paid a bit extra for a sea view and got it. They do their best in that regard. We were pleased with our room, knowing no room is absolutely perfect. We will absolutely return.

Staff wete nice Languedoc were issues. Prperty was not uptodate electricity power outlet not worki g after moving from.one to another room after 2 days.
