Kilbury Manor B&B

We've just come back from a weekend, staying in the Garden room at Kilbury Manor. It was just the relaxing weekend away we needed. The room was a good size, very clean and made for a very chilled time away. It was good to have a separate entrance from the main house, meaning we could enjoy walks straight from the B&B when ever we wanted. Julia & Martin were very friendly & accommodating. We certainly enjoyed the yummy cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend!

We stayed for three nights at the end of July and could not have been made to feel more welcome and comfortable by JUlia & Martin who are excellent hosts.. The house is a typical Devon farmhouse, set in huge and tranquil gardens, which you are welcome to sit in and enjoy or explore. The rooms are well equipped with everything you might need, the bed very comfortable, made with good quality bedding, and everything is beautifully clean and fresh. The breakfasts are well worth waking up for and set you up for the rest of the day! There is a varied choice available, making use of local produce. Kilbury Manor is quiet and peaceful yet only a short walk away from the town and within very easy reach of all ameneties too. Julie & Martin offered advice on places to eat during the evening, none of which are too far to travel, and all, that we tried, are very good, providing quality food and ambience. We were delighted to have found KIlburn Manor and would highly recomment it as a place to stay.

We booked Apple Loft Cottage, and must say it was AMAZING, it’s well equipped , Quality furnishings and fittings,, Wi Fi was quick …. Stunning Property, Spacious and well tendered Garden to enjoy, The Hosts Julia and Martin were great Hosts. Definitely worth a visit, Faultless in every sense, Thank You .. Robert and Sam

We stayed here for three nights in August 2021 to do some sightseeing of childhood holiday places. We stayed in the loft room and we could not have been happier. It was immaculately clean, which straight away made me feel very comfortable and the toiletries were the best we have ever come used. I would have been happier to stay so much longer. Our hosts were very attentive and the breakfast was so delicious with plenty of choice. What can I say, except that I would have loved to have stayed longer.

Stayed here July 2021 for a couple of nights and stayed in the loft room. Beautiful location and lots of places to visit within a short car ride away. The room was modern, tastefully decorated with lots of nice little touches and immaculately clean. The breakfast was delicious, fresh with lots of choice and Julia the host is a lovely, friendly lady. Would highly recommend this place for couples wanting a bit of luxury, peace and tranquility whilst taking in the gorgeous nearby scenery.

We stayed in The Loft Room for a two night stay on 22/23 October. It was spotlessly clean with a Hugh comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice available. Our hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. We would not hesitate in returning, extremely good value for what we paid.

Kilbury manor was just a beautiful relaxing place to stay for the 2 day wedding we were attending near by Julia was very helpful prior to the trip with taxi numbers and her kindness due to covid uncertainties was much appreciated. The grounds are stunning, gorgeous flowers and well kept. Our room was lovely and much better than we even hoped for. Breakfast was excellent, great choice and a very good post wedding hangover cure! We will definitely visit again, a fantastic place to stay for a stop off on the way to Cornwall, visiting Devon or attending a wedding near by!

Stayed for 4 nights in this perfect location for walks in Dartmoor. If you are not into hiking there are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. Julia and Martin are excellent hosts and they cannot do enough for you to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Excellent breakfasts, my room was very comfortable with a view over the subtropical garden. I will certainly be happy to return for another visit.
