We went in hopes of having a lovely weekend in including a nice hotel. I’m positive side, the rooms are big and spread out through Peddlers Village. The room we stayed in was conveniently located in the middle of the village. In addition, even though we arrived early, our room was ready.. we booked the room because there were supposed to be a gas fireplace, which there was. Unfortunately, there was no way to turn on the gas fireplace. Addition, even though we explained that the coffee pot was not working we were told that it was working and we were doing it in the wrong sequence. That might have been true, but I’m familiar with Keurig machines and I tried every possible sequence available. There were no directions available so I have to trust that I knew how to do a single cup Keurig. The room itself was a bit shabby and warm. Even though we asked for housekeeping, we know that the carpet was not vacuumed , because there were leaves on the floor. The mattress on the bed seem to be old and it was very soft. Freedom in addition, from entering the building and up the hallway, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach. That’s a good thing in that. I’m sure it meant things were clean, but it was a little overwhelming. Also, please note, at least in our building, the only choice was a flight of stairs up to the rooms. There is no elevator, which may be difficult for some people.
Excellent
