It was really enjoyable and relaxing.breakfast was tasty thanks to the staff and chef for a healthy breakfast, especially to Mark he really make us feel welcome and comfortable during our breakfast he deserved to be recognised as I observed he loves his job,
Some review I saw cleanliness is poor but it was the opposite as I'm allergic to dust but it was clean and everything was perfect for the price it was 5/5.
Definitely we stay again.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We chose this hotel because it was very easy to drive to, and had a bus stop outside to go into Chester. This proved to be an excellent choice as the hotel was great and all of the staff fantastic. Our room was very large with a wonderful sofa to recover from the walking around Chester. We had booked dinner and breakfast which were both very good. The only problem we had was that the room was very warm for sleeping, the Air con. was fixed temperature and could have been colder.

Easy accessible hotel, transport into city opposite hotel. Rooms clean, with added bonus of smart tv. Breakfast pleasant. We didn't get the room cleaned as no need so can't comment on the housekeeping. Overall would stay again as no hassle stay, great price and location

it was lovely and clean room great size ,sitting chairs ,great tv ,and tea tray iron ,quite hotel ,breakfast great choice plenty of it for every one ,and evening meal cooked so well and plenty of choice we book breakfast and evening meal was so worth it ,all the staff were so helpful and kind caring made us feel so welcome ,the bonus was thw swimming pool which i used and they will give you a towel if need and loved you can spin your swim suit after swim ,also sauna in each changing rooms which was nice ,and jacuzzi was lovely my husband used it and helped with his pain in his leg ,was clean and paul in swimming pool was a very kind helpful man to us and explain things thank you paul ,the wifi was so easy and great to use really enjoyed our stay great for chester as well would use again x

The positive is staff are great, the negative….. well….., we had a twin room and moved the beds apart…. The carpet was filthy! Grim. With hindsight we should have rung housekeeping to sort things but we were tired after a long trip so we ‘made do’ We had dinner in the hotel, we both had the same meal which we thought tasted a bit odd ( I thought it tasted like it had been cooked in old cooking oil) and we were ill for 24 hrs! Again, with hindsight we should have sent the food back but we didn’t. We were too tired and needed an early night as we had to be up early the next day. We started to feel ill in the night which was awful , especially as we were staying for a sporting event that we were competing in and being ill all night and for most of the competition was horrid!! On checkout we told the receptionist and the next day I had a call from the duty manager who seemed very concerned. She said she would post some vouchers to compensate us but now, 10 days on, we still haven’t received anything.

I had a very pleasant 3 night stay here. The ladies on check in web very helpful and i even got an upgrade. The room was comfortable and clean although I did act like I was on four in a bed looking for dust. The bar got busy with families but it was school holidays and parents were happy for the children to run about. Food choice was good.
