Bed is comfortable and pillows too. Lots of towels too. Clean, Quite, friendly. Beautiful views. I always recommend Fort Knox Inn to friends and familyl. Across the street from MacLeod's Restaurant. There are many shops along Main Street, including Bookstacks, and the Alamo Theater.

The Inn is right on the water with a great view of the Verona Bridge. Although it was Feb., we saw bufflehead ducks, loons, and other birds right outside out window. There are good places to eat right up the street within walking distance or a very short drive. We were in Bucksport for a funeral, which was stressful. But the Catholic Church and the funeral home were within walking distance too.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need for an overnight stay in Bucksport. The view out the window was amazing! The walkway was right out the door. A beautiful sunrise. A five minute walk to a great breakfast restaurant. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. We will be back!

Lady behind the desk was more interested in her phone than anything else. She let me know I didn’t have a reservation before even looking. Super not friendly and the room had no heat.
