Danubius Hotel Erzsébet City Center

Perfect location in the heart of Budapest with a lot of restaurants in the surrounding areas and easy walking access to the main city attractions. There's the subway nearby but you barely need it. Very calm during the night time. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable and very clean room. Breakfast with a good variety: scrambled eggs, bacon, fried eggs, beans, cheese, ham, bread, croissants, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, coffee, cereals, juice... I definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay in Budapest.

Having read the reviews i was very apprehensive about our stay here, but we were pleasantly surprised. We checked in around 9pm, had a warm welcome and a quick check in. We had to put a code in to access the lift, then the key card to take us to room. All very secure. Our room was clean and warm. It had a fridge and a decent tv. Going out that night it was pouring with rain and the receptionist gave us his umbrella to borrow...total gent! Throughout our stay we were not disturbed or bothered by other guests. We felt happy and secure We checked out on the Monday, but had a few hours before heading to the airport. We were able to keep our luggage at the hotel free of charge in a locked luggage room. We had a great stay and would stay again. Its an old building like alot of others in Budapest, and there are some other flats and residents who stay in the building, but it was all very secure, the building is operated by motion lights, so it seems dark but the lights come on as you walk along. if you are looking for something 4 or 5 star this isnt you place, but a comfy bed, warm shower and great location for exploring!

Although the room is small, it has everything that should be, and it is very clean and tidy. The counter staff is very kind, the English is also very good at communication, very satisfied. The hotel is very close to the river bank, and it is also a lively place nearby. It is very convenient for eating and shopping.

The location of the Hostel was very convnient and easy to find. the staff was really friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions very detailed and even offerd us to call a taxi for us and helped communicating with local people and organizing trips. I stayed with my Mom in a double room and you did´t even realize it was a hostel. It felt like a stay in a normal hotel. It was clean and pretty. The breakfast also had a lot of variety and was really delicious. very good offer for a really cheap price. I would alwas book it again if i get the chance to travel to Budapest again.
Walk Inn Váci 78

The BEST accommodation in Budapest. Apartment completely recommended, has everything you want to find: Nice, central, comfortable, clean, quiet, economical, and attention of 11/10. Special mention should be made of the excellent attention received by Viktoria, the manager of the apartment. It always welcomes you with a smile, with kind words, and is willing to help you in everything you need, getting you from the first minute that you feel at home even if you are thousands of kilometers from your home. This place has been a great discovery, so I can only recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Budapest to go to Walk Inn Vaci, who will surely be delighted.
The Loft Budapest

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend and we couldn't fault a thing with our three night stay. The hotel only has 8 rooms and is not your normal hotel, it's built within a residential building taking up the whole first floor - a single reception desk leads off to 8 individual rooms. Our room overlooked the city - but we had no noise disturbances, the bed was huge and very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Staff were polite and helpful at all times. Its centrally located, everything is walking distance even the Szechenyi baths which took us around 40mins to walk to. The M1 metro line is a 2 minute walk away. I'd 100% recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, comfortable, centrally located hotel for a city break.
