Me and my wife had come to see the sights of Budapest and THE LOFT was our choice, this turned out to be a fantastic one♥️. Location was really central to the main sights and attractions with plenty of choice for food and drink options on the door step. The room was excellent, great decor and roomy with air con and high ceilings to help you feel cool with the temp being 33c on our visit. Room had a mini bar (chargeable) but useful to have a fridge for your own stuff. Bed was very comfy and cleanliness was good. There is a small reception area with tea and coffee facilities with great staff there always available to help you and give tourist info if needed. I would happily recommend this to all and if we return to Budapest I would book here again in a heartbeat

Stay away from this hotel. After booking, I tried contacting the hotel using their listed phone number (+36 20 293 8755). I spent three days calling with no success. They do not respond to calls or to emails from my travel agent either.

Extremely disappointing experience. Due to the sudden escalation of war in Israel, all flights were cancelled and I had no way to reach the property. While most hotels showed understanding and refunded or rebooked customers in similar situations, this hotel chose to hide behind "non-refundable" policies and refused any flexibility — no refund, no date change, nothing. They preferred to keep money for a service they knew was impossible to use, showing zero empathy or professionalism. I strongly advise avoiding this property if you expect basic human decency and fair treatment in unexpected circumstances.

Loved the location right in the shopping area on Vaci. Breathe in as you get into the lift with your suitcases ..The rooms are comfortable and quiet with great high ceilings and the real loft’vibe’. Easy and quick walk to the Danube and Danube restaurants. Would stay here again.

Our flights were canceled due to a sensitive security situation in the country. The hotel did not agree to consider and even though we closed a free cancellation because it was the same day they were not willing to consider and meet us. They threatened that if I wrote a bad comment about them they would sue me for defamation. The other hotels responded sympathetically and offered a compensation voucher with the option to change dates and even a refund! The attitude of the hotel clerk was disappointing and embarrassing. I wouldn't go near the place.

The hotel is on the first floor of an old building near to Deak Ferenc ter. My room had a modern feel, with exposed brickwork, and was a good size. The bed was very comfortable. Because the room is very high and the windows likewise, I found it difficult to draw the curtains in such a way as to exclude all the light from outside. This made the room quite light, and I found it difficult to sleep. (This is a personal thing, and the fact that I was only at the hotel for 1 night may have contributed to the situation).

Amazing place to stay. Very local to everything such an ideal location close to a lot of the main tourist attractions. Staff lovely and friendly. Don’t be put off by the hotel being in the same building as where the locals live as it’s such a great find! The only thing I would say is the concept of the hotel is weird it’s more like self catered apartments hotel reception is 8am-8pm. Lack of coffee and tea making facilities but not a deal breaker. Would stay again.

The room was amazing, stylish and super clean and with netflix! 🤩 had a good sleep. it is around 10 minutes walking from center. the Breakfast could have been better with more items…..overall a very good stay.
