Buellton Hotels with Swimming Pools

Hotel was clean, updated, beautifully decorated, The bed was comfortable, included continental breakfast delivered to room, the staff was super friendly, overall a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend

Buellton is almost a crossroads only, leading to Solvang a more popular tourist destination. But a Marriott is there with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was a standard Marriott room with a small bathroom, two queen size beds and a nice view. It. Was clean and comfortable. Dining opportunities there were limited but we were given good advice by the desk clerk as to other opportunities in the area. Breakfast was plentiful with many options.

Stayed here three days while visiting Solvang. Room was large and comfortable with everything you would need. Fridge, coffee pot, large closet and bathroom, comfortable beds. It's close to everything and of course there restaurant is right next door. Check in was very fast and efficient. Only detractors were you couldn't smoke on your balcony. Only on some benches on the side of the property. There was a mariachi band playing until late Saturday night just on the other side of the fence at the rear of the building. Didn't bother me much but some friends who had a room in the back were not happy about it. Also there's a jacuzzi but young children were constantly using it as a mini pool. Altogether this is a nice place to stay and I will return. Just keeping in mind the few detractors.

We stayed here in mid-November 2020 and I think that the hotel is doing a good job. closures/covid impacts: - The hot tub was closed - The breakfast was more limited than usual, but they did have some hot options like scrambled eggs & sausage. They also had juice, bagels & cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, & fruit. - No daily housekeeping so you leave your trash can in the hall if you want it taken out and you call the front desk if you need anything. Rooms are sanitized between guests. I didn't see a lot of trash in the hall given the situation. pros (aside from those found in other reviews): + While Solvang was super-crowded in town, the Hampton Inn Buellton was quiet and clean. + Guests mainly respected eachothers' space. + The pool was open and heated. We were the only ones to use it from what I could tell. + There are several outdoor sitting areas and 1-2 fire pits (fire pits were turned on at night) as well. These are great if you want to meet up with some friends or family and stay outside. You could definitely dine alfresco, just bring a jacket. It gets cold quickly. + There was a Firestone Brewery within a very short walk offering takeout or patio dining (with a fireplace). + The room was clean and spacious and had mini fridge & microwave + Free parking was plentiful. + coffee & cocoa available in the lobby (seemed like 24 hrs?)

I stayed in one of the safari tents with a large group, and we all noticed that people from the nearby trailers were using our designated bathroom area. My kids even complained about finding tissues with poop on the floor. On the first day, one of the bathroom stalls reeked of cigarette smoke. When we confronted a woman about using our bathroom, she claimed the cleaning staff had given her the code. Later that night, I saw a pickup truck with three people pull up to use the bathroom and shower. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe allowing my kids to use the restroom, knowing that random people had access to our codes. We had a group that rented out seven safari tents, and we were aware of everyone on our property. We were assured the bathrooms and showers were for safari campers only. Considering the amount of money we spent, we were deeply disappointed and felt unsafe with unauthorized people accessing our facilities.

Good lighting in room, decent parking, nice vanity, fair price, clean room, fast check-in, good air conditioning, nice sized room, bathtub,and safe location and only 3 miles from Solvang. IMO a better value than Solvang which is a bit overpriced. Visit Solvang...stay in Buellton.
