El Hotel excelente, hermoso, antiguo pero muy bien conservado! El personal casi todos sumamente amables y eficientes. Nos atendieron de manera excelente: Dimaría, en la cafetería, Tomás como bellboy, Mara, en recepción y la Sra. Laura en el desayuno . Todos ellos hicieron un extra por nosotros, pero los demás meseros y el chico de recepción de la mañana fueron muy atentos y serviciales. Los únicos que no fueron atentos: un hombre que preparaba los huevos en el desayuno (el lunes) que ni siquiera contestó el saludo, y Guillermo en recepción, quien al ver llegar a otro cliente, me dejó de lado por hacer “un check in”, y al momento de cerrar la cuenta tenían un error, y se comportó como si nosotros quisiéramos hacer trampa (el error era que no habían hecho un descuento del 20% en el consumo de alimentos, ofrecido al principio y que no estaba aplicado por su sistema. El mobiliario hermoso y bien cuidado, la cama ya maltratada por el uso, pero que mejoró con un cubre colchón.

Lovely hotel located in a nice area of Buenos Aires. Very near Recoleta cemetery and the docks area. Reception was efficient and the room was great, very spacious although with no view to speak of. Bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom lovely. Breakfast was relaxed with the normal choices. There is a small roof top area but I imagine it gets packed at the busy time. Staff were lovely and helpful. I’d recommend for a stay on the city.

Fantastic location in THE nicest area in BA. Hotel staff are fluent in English like most luxury hotels and very friendly. The rooms are dated but very quiet. The elegance of this hotel exudes luxury (Eva Perron lived here for 2 years). The best restaurants and bakeries are within 2-3 blocks. The only downside is that the towels were not good and the gym is way too small.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful area. Fabulous and reasonably priced food. The staff is professional and very accommodating. I am returning again after my cruise and greatly look forward to my stay. Thank you, Meliá Recoleta!!

Lovely Boutique hotel in upmarket area of BA near plenty of great restaurants and bars. Staff great super breakfast lady doing the omlette station is a star. Love the Eva Peron connection and walking distance to cemetery where she was buried. Would definitely come back. Can recommend Fervour a couple of doors away for a fab steak!

Prob the worst managed hotel of a chain that I have stayed in ever. The chef was wonderful and tried very hard but did not have abiability to solve most problems . Many things did not work correctly such as the door to the room, the safe in the room and The telephone. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that there was not one on duty that day nor would there be 1 on duty the next day.

Every time we came back to our room the door was open, even though we had checked it prior to leaving. It was very disconcerting. Check in was very slow and seemed to take forever. While the location was great I’m struggling to understand the five star rating. Not impressed with the breakfast and they served terrible gluten free bread. Buenos Aires has excellent gluten free bakeries. We also stayed at Magnolia Hotel in Palermo which was only 3 stars but we liked it much better.

Awesome place. Wonderful Staff Really enjoyed the hotel. Perfect location. Very close to many places to visit which is a huge plus. Extremely safe and upscale area. Even has an excellent money exchange right across the street. Beautiful rooms. Breakfast is beyond and the omelets chef is amazing. The staff is very helpful and wonderful to work with. 5 star all the way!
