A friend and I decided to stay there, I asked them for twin beds but of course only a double bed was available and no electricity adapters were available during our entire stay, as all of them were used. The next day I asked the receptionist where to exchange money and she suggested me to take the tube and highlighted how safe it was to use it, 10 minutes later I have been robbed - they stole my walled with all my money and credit cards in the tube - not suggesting anything but it is a big coincidence! Worst than that is that there was never a manager available to talk to and when he finally arrived, he was extremely rude suggesting that we are very stupid and patronisingly that "we should know better" as we all know how it works in Latin America? - Rather than being empathetic to their guests they just made us feel worst. The hotel management must learn the basics of customer service and should train their staff to advise their guests accordingly on the dangers and always suggest to call them a radio taxi for safety, particularly when they are aware they are going to exchange money. Sadly this episode really spoiled our holidays - please chose carefully where you stay, as small hotels not necessarily mean good service and boutique. We actually decided to change hotels after the manager was extremely unhelpful. Watch out!
