Gym 1/5 - access to the Caniflor Hotel gym, sister hotel is given, but the equipment is all old, broken or insufficient. Better to just go to the outdoor park. Sauna 3/5 - again at Caniflor hotel, but need to ask to use in advance. I didn’t end up using - but it looked OK. Sleep - 2/5 - mattress springs were a bit worn, could hear the water pipes most of the night. Breakfast - 3/5 passable breakfast, at the price point of the hotel, it’s good value. Bread, some salad, ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, some fruit, eggs, beans, bacon and sausages. Coffee and juices to drink. Beach - Just the rocky beaches of St Paul’s nearby. Staff very friendly

Not worth the price. In general, very old hotel. Beds are made of a wooden plank that make a lot of noise as soon as you move a little bit and the bed sheets are too big for the size of the bed, which make being in bed very uncomfortable and hard to sleep. Plugs far from bed. Bathroom was new but the shower glass is way too small and, everytime you take a shower, you create a swimming pool. Swimming pool closes at 18:00. Not sure what’s the reason for this but it would be nice to have it open till later so people can make use of it. Breakfast is ok (juice machine, bread, jam, ham, cheese, fried and boiled eggs, bacon, sausages).

A little dated but efficient. The room was very large (really huge), with a balcony. No minibar and no bathroom kit; I was provided with a mini soap bar (so if you book I recommend you bring your own samples). The breakfast is okay. Making a balance between quality and price, I absolutely cannot say anything, on the contrary. The only flaw that really made me feel quite bad, although I'm not a "squeamish" person, was the toilet bowl in which I unfortunately found small residues of excrement (easily removed with a mop). This for me, as for anyone else, is an indication of not thorough and efficient cleaning!
