Three of us traveling together had confirmed reservations months in advance, guaranteed against my Visa card. A few hours before arrival, hotel sent message to one of our party saying reservation cancelled, offering accommodation at "sister hotel". When we arrived, manager blamed booking service. Booking service, of course, blames manager. "Sister hotel" was a disorderly private home. Chor Minor rooms were not clean, had no blankets or top sheet, only a used coverlet. Dirty shower pan, muddy shower sandals and a dirty comb in room. Manager was argumentative, would not even look at conditions, so we checked out. Chor Minor is well reviewed, so something seems to be wrong here.

Nice two-star hotel walking distance to most of Bukhara’s attractions. Highlight is the staff who are friendly and helpful. There is an Uzbek breakfast every morning, which is delicious. The hotel will also do laundry services for a fee. There is clean water available in the kitchen. The rooms are spacious and have a heritage to them - when we arrived we were told our room is more than 300 years old. Be aware that sound carries in the hotel - bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel is very close to the main tourist sites, many within easy walking distance. After initial hiccup with no hot water, which the manager resolved, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is good, hot drinks need to be made by using the kettle. Staff are polite, much of our communication was gestures as there is little English spoken.

Волшебный, старинный, красивый дом, с гостеприимным хозяином Султаном! Путешествовали большой компанией в 25 человек. Хозяин всех встретил на вокзале. Завтраки из домашних продуктов, с любовью приготовленные хозяйкой, волшебная домашняя выпечка. В отеле чисто, спокойно и очень красиво и уютно внутри. Расположение недалеко от основных туристических мест. Пешком можно обойти все основные достопримечательности. Желаю процветания хозяину и его дому! Обязательно вернёмся в Бухару!

Spacious and beautiful rooms with antique doors out to the old city, this B&B was the highlight of our trip due to the immense hospitality of the family who run it. They are renovating some aspects of the hotel but it was not bothersome at all and we only hope that more people get to experience this exquisite home away from home.

Очень хороший отель. Атмосферный, находится в паре шагов от всех основных достопримечательностей. Рядом множество месте где можно вкусно перекусить. Хорошие завтраки. Приветливый персонал. Все рассказали, подсказали, помогли рубли поменять по хорошему курсу и за счет отеля отправили нас на вокзал при выезде. Шампунь, гель для душа, 2 полотенца – все отлично.

The hotel is very well located, large room and bathroom, great shower, delicious breakfast prepared by Mrs. Dilnoz. Mr. Sultan is an exceptional man and solves everything you need. His daughter Fatima speaks very good English and is always ready to serve the guest with friendliness and efficiency.
