Kim, Magda and Sof definitely went the extra mile to help me and my Mum during our stay. There was nothing to much for them. Everything we needed or asked for they sorted immediately. I have never been shown service to that standard during any stay at any other hotel before

Sadly apart from the look from the outside and a generous size room my stay was disappointing! The mattress was hold. The duvet was heavy. The furnishings were tired. The sofa was uncomfortable and very low to view the TV, which had an intermittent remote control. The breakfast was in a temporary room due to renovation and felt we were packed in and sitting too close to other guests. With regard to breakfast, the sausages were undercooked the eggs were greasy and there were ants on the cloth by the hot food trays. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless things changed and they updated the rooms to be more comfortable, I had the worst two nights sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel!

Sadly the hotel is looking a bit tired. The executive room wasn’t very nice, it had a hard mattress, the worse two nights sleep I’ve ever had, the furnishings were old and the sofa was really uncomfortable with saggy cushions! The curtains were faded! The breakfast wasn’t great either, they had it in a small room as the usual dining area was being renovated but they had too many tables in a small area and everyone was really close together. The breakfast not the best! sausages were anaemic and I found ants in the area around the hot plates! Overall for what we paid I wouldn’t stay here again!

The most beautiful, stunning hotel hidden away in the village of Bulkington! We have previously spent a night here but returned a month later for a family afternoon tea for my mums 60th. Right from the minute of arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Kim. The food service was prompt and they kept checking everything was ok, which it was! The portions were more than enough. For 6 adults and 1 toddler we were provided with 4 afternoon tea platters (1 child platter then 3 platters shared between 2) jam packed with cakes, sandwiches and 1 scone each beautifully displayed. Food was tasty and we even had some to take home in boxes as there was plenty. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Fantastic venue for my daughter's wedding. Accommodation and food was excellent and they fully catered for our family who had allergies. Both food during day and evening was excellent with everything labelled. Highly recommend as staff and facilities were excellent

I recently visited the hotel for a close friends wedding. The drive upto the hotel shows a wonderful quintessential English country Manor House. The car park was large with easy parking. The reception staff were polite and helpful in guiding my wife and I to my friends wedding reception. The hotel was beautifully set out for my friends wedding and was clean and warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Toilets were clean and very tidy, and the prices at the bar were very reasonable. All in all an inviting experience for the wife and I, and definitely some where we would stay.

Had a great stay for a family wedding! All staff members were welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was a good one. Rooms were great, food was great. Just an all round nice, chilled and relaxing place to stay. Thank you very much. Great location for a wedding.
