Woooooooooooooow I honestly dont know where to start from. ATACO COUNTRY RESORT is indeed a home away from home. The hospitality, ambiance, staff, scenery is so top notch. Their receptionist and manager are the most hospitable I have ever met. Rooms are spackling clean, good wifi supply, their meals are mouth watering. Thank you for hosting me and the team from Uganda Wildlife Conservation Centre UWEC- Entebbe zoo. Greetings to Abooki Mom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. there was obviously something very wrong in the kitchen as waiting time for food was over two hours. No explanations were given - it would have been much better to inform of the real situation rather than to keep pomisising

Ataco Country Resort is a well-known and popular venue, a few km south of Fort Portal off the Kasese Road. It looks old-fashioned compared to many of the new hotels in Fort Portal yet it's a reliable option with well-trained, friendly staff. We passed by for a drink without a booking and had a very friendly reception from everyone we met. The gardens and pool are well tended. Swimming is just 10k per person. We will definitely revisit soon.
