Beautiful, elegant old Mansion property, with excellent , friendly staff, plenty of amenities, awesome views (from our room, the Treehouse). Comfortable, quiet and convenient to downtown, UVM & Champlain campuses. Only open a short time so far so a couple of bugs to work out, which likely vary by room (like no in-room climate control or closet/wardrobe in ours), but nothing to fret about. Highly recommended.

I stayed here when it was Willard Street Inn and was excited to revisit under the Blind Tiger management. It's still a stunningly gorgeous inn with comfortable rooms and really inviting public spaces. I set up and did some remote-working in the solarium and on the patio both on the day I arrived and the day I departed and it's really such a treat. If you have a kid at Champlain College, like I do, it could not be closer. It's also easy to get your 10,000 steps walking down the hill, around Church Street and back. Staying here beats staying in a chain hotel by a mile, though it is more expensive. If it helps justify the price, the breakfast is superior and there are 24/7 snacks, coffee, tea and iced coffee available. Walking around the garden is a real treat, too, and not an experience you can have at a bigger hotel.

Bravo, Blind Tiger! We were in town for the figure skating Eastern Sectional High School Final over the weekend, and had a fantastic stay! We stayed in Room 8 (Gather), and it was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter. Two comfortable bedrooms with King beds, and TWO bathrooms, a full and a half. There is a wet bar with another sink and a small refrigerator for drinks or vitamins or meds that need to be kept cold. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

Bonus Points for being incredibly unique- definitely a place you want to spend time. Like we didn’t want to leave the sunroom! The breakfast was great! Afternoon DIY coffee/tea space was a little confusing, but nice to have. Room was clean, bathroom very cool! The window shades were a little hard to work, but we managed.

Super spacious rooms, very spacious layout with many rooms for relaxing, reading, sipping, zooming ( if necessary), enjoying the plants in the solarium and the fireplace if chilly. lovely breakfast buffet and be sure to check out the snack cabinet with fresh-baked goods and other treats.

The inn is a beautiful old Victorian with high ceilings and a gorgeous conservatory where you can eat breakfast. Hosts were all very nice. Breakfast was expanded Continental- breads, scones, yogurt, fresh fruit, prosciutto, lox, cheese. Room had a wonderful view of trees and Lake Champlain. Furniture was mostly elegant but then there were wooden chairs covered with graffiti, which really clashed. The side tables next to the bed were also modern- looked like dripping metal off the sides. This was right next to handsome burgundy wing chairs. Some of the floors had been sanded to a nude color, next to all the dark brown wood of the staircase. The new railings on the staircase had been neither painted nor sanded, which was a shame. Overall very good but the modern furniture and and paintings were disconcerting.
