A second stay for us. Both times the front desk staff and room were very pleasant. Just after 8 am, we went for a hot breakfast. The dining room was about 1/3 full. There was one piece of bacon, no sausages and eggs for 1.5 people. When I looked for staff I heard a very loud voice ask “ What are you looking for?” I was taken aback by her tone and said “ Food. There isn’t any left.” “ She held up two hands toward me and counted 5, 10, 15 20 . In 20 minutes you can have bacon. You can take that one piece that is left. “ She seemed to be already upset and perhaps she was having a very bad day. It was a very uncomfortable and unfortunate encounter which left us very, very uncomfortable and frankly embarrassed in front of other guests who were laughing at the encounter. We left and went to McDonalds. There are signs that say that guests are not allowed to take food out of the dining area and they are frugal with what they put out. If you had a couple with kids, this might be a problem.
