An older motel, but clean and comfortable. Condition of room and furnishing were fine, but the heating unit was very noisy.

We love Burney. The motel only caters to visitors (no locals) which is appreciated. The mattresses feel like they need replacing but everything else is very clean and pleasant! We got the 2 bedroom: perfect for my husband and I with our two kids!

Our stay was very comfortable. The room was huge, and had a separate area for kitchen and dining with all necessary utensils. Overall our stay was very comfortable. It was reasonably priced as well.

I read the other reviews and kept my expectations in check about the Burney Motel. That is, I knew I wasn't going to the Holiday Inn Express, let alone the Four Seasons, and that was OK. I had some anxiety about the check-in time, because I didn't have a lot of control over when I could leave work, and I got the sense from what was on the web site that I had to be there very early or someone would be gravely inconvenienced. When I wound up having to leave work late, and then hit traffic, it was even more anxiety producing. Overall, this was a safe, comfortable place to stay in a town without a lot of options. The management did their best to accomodate me. The wifi was strong. I could have done without the very heavy antiseptic/cleaning smell when I walked in, but I adjusted to it after a while. Keep your expectations in check, and the Burney Motel is a fine choice.
