8 lovely properties in the bush about 5kms from Margaret River. All facilities provided in the property. Very quiet but easy drive into Margaret River for restaurants, shops and bars

This was our perfect place, a beautiful bush setting with kangaroos, birds and other wildlife, so peaceful. The Cottage was modern, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. It's very close to Margaret River and the coast, lots to do locally. We loved it and wished we had booked for a longer stay. If we ever get to WA again we will be back.

We booked 4 cottages for our family for a special 70th birthday. The cottages were clean and tidy with everything we needed. Only 5 minutes drive into Margaret River and close to so many other attractions. It was lovely to see the kangaroos and the children enjoyed playing in the bush and riding their bikes. Would highly recommend a visit to Ellensbrook homestead! We hope to stay again at Bussell’s Bushland Cottages.

Beautiful bushland setting out of the hustle bustle of Margaret River but still close by to enjoy what the area offers. Very kind and welcoming hosts John and Ange. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a slight issue with an electric jug but was fixed in a flash. Awesome cottages, well appointed. Comfortable bed and the breeze was great with open windows. Although it was hot we didn’t even need the aircon. Very clean cottage, comfy bed. Walking tracks on the property were a bonus as we like to walk. Lovey and quiet with only nature to listen to. BBQ provided. Fantastic continental breaky provided day 1. Couldn’t fault the place. We will be staying again next time we are in the area .

Three of us stayed in one of the cottages for a week and we had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. I thought it might be excessively hot in January, but it was much cooler than our previous week in Perth and we only used the aircon on the first day, even though the weather was lovely and sunny all week. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. Location was good, handy to the township and local beaches and wineries. We loved getting close to the kangaroos too! The only thing we couldn't do due to limited wifi at the location was make use of our streaming services - which really wasn't an issue, and we still had internet access for the essentials. If you want to get away from your usual routine and go bush for a while, I highly recommend Bussells Bushland Cottages.

We had an absolutely wonderful 4 nights at Bushlands. The cottages are well equipped for a comfortable stay. We wanted to experience a but of rural Australia and were treated to numerous sitings of different wildlife. An experience we could readily choose again when we return from the UK.

The houses are extremely well appointed with good quality furnishings, a great little wood burning stove in the living room and a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed here in late August to early September 2023 and loved it. The cottages are set in a beautiful bit of bushland with plenty of kangaroos and bird life. There are some short walks that take you around the site. It is perfect for children. They are close to Margaret River which is very handy.

We've been visiting Bussell's Bushland Cottages for years, and the standard of accommodation and level of hospitality have never been better. Beautiful bush walks on the block, great housekeeping, lovely hosting, and far enough from town to feel like you're on a retreat while close enough to pop in for a coffee. A really wonderful venue.

Bussells Bushland Cottages are just fantastic! We spent 4 days there with friends in another cottage. They are very comfortable, spotlessly clean, very well furnished and fully equiped with everything you need. All this in a beautiful bushland setting, about 5 k out from Margaret River, but central to everything the region has to offer. The managers seem to anticipate guests every need, with milk, orange juice and cereals provided for your first nights stay, a warm cabin, and ample firewood, kindling and fire starters for the potbelly.
