Lovely historic hotel in a wonderful location and the grounds are picturesque, however in need of TLC it has been allowed to run down such a shame. There is glimmer of hope it was sold on to new owners as the old owner ran out of money. The staff however were wonderful and the food was fantastic and I would revisit if it was refurbished and updated.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here. The staff are very friendly and the food was delicious. Really nice restaurant, with great atmosphere. There was a mistake with the bill but it was rectified very quickly and without a fuss. Would definitely come here again

Hi we recently held a 70th birthday party at this lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was very good too. We loved the pavilion where the party was held, I would highly recommend. A lot of our guests stayed overnight in lovely rooms and the breakfast was brilliant freshly cooked to order .All in all a fabulous weekend and truly lovely staff, a hidden gem x

My wife & I had lunch at Ravenwood Hall the food and service was excellent and would not hesitate in recommending Ravenwood Hall for food and drinks. This would also be a great place in summer with the outside space and magnificent swimming pool area

Ravenwood Hall Hotel is a quirky but utterly delightful place, best perhaps described as 'shabby chic'. The staff are among the most courteous, attentive and accommodating I have ever encountered. The bedroom was large and well appointed and the bed also very large and most comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the linen spotless. Dinner was a tasty, well cooked meal which was most enjoyable. Quite a good selection of wines including several by the glass which is always welcome. The dining room has real character and boasts the most comfortable chairs. The hotel has been under new ownership for about a year. They really deserve to succeed with this venture

My partner and I stayed in Mews 6 at Ravenwood Hall Hotel. Honestly, I cannot give it a recommendation that will glow enough! Delicious food, charming and efficient staff and an absolutely magical and enchanting setting that is beyond romantic. We adored the winding staircase to our pretty room (very Rapunzel-esque), it was an honor to meet Cheddar and the staff were honestly such a delight and nothing was too much to ask.

We recently visited Ravenwood Hall for 4 nights. My husband and I found it a nice place with pleasant staff. It's very old with lots of period features and large rooms. The dining room is a particularly nice add on with large stone fireplace and gas pretend log grate. Our room was nice but needed a lick of paint, new carpet to replace the badly marked one and the bath had lost its enamel shine. Otherwise OK and a very large comfy bed. Food was OK if unremarkable although no dinner Sunday evenings was a downer. On our 3rd morning we had no heating due to running out of oil! It was really chilly. A damp day with no sun and a cold wind. Dining room was freezing and no gas fire lit. We returned cold and damp in late afternoon ready for a lovely hot bath. Still no heating as the boiler was now airlocked so we were given a small fan heater which took ages to get the room warmer. No hot water and a freezing bathroom meant we didn't even change. Boiled kettle for a wash and got dinner. We were told there was now hot water but it never became any more than tepid by the time we left the following morning after still no heating. We were given £20 discount from our food bill for our "inconvenience". I will let you draw your own conclusions on our customer care.
