Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk. Wij kwamen op oudejaarsavond om 19.50 aan en wilden nog eten, wat eigenlijk tot 20 uur kon. Na een belletje door de receptioniste naar de keuken waren we welkom. Bij het restaurant werden we zo vriendelijk ontvangen, ondanks het feit dat we wel klaar waren met werken. Was een goed begin van ons verblijf. We komen zeker terug!!

Vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, uitstekend bed en fijne badkamer met prettige douche en bad + producten. Veel glutenvrije opties bij het ontbijt + versgebakken glutenvrije broodjes (ook voor mensen die wel gluten eten uiteraard veel opties).

Afgelopen maand hebben we bij Brasserie Jan gegeten en kozen we voor een viergangen verrassingsmenu van chef Michiel van Woerkom. De avond begon met een aantal uitnodigende amuses, waaronder steak tartaar met bieslookmayonaise, piccalilly sorbet en krokant zwoerd op zuurdesem. Een verrassende combinatie die de eetlust opwekt en de avond perfect inluidt. Andere gerechten die me bijgebleven zijn, waren de dorade gegaard in citrusolie met tomaat, sherry dressing, basilicumolie, rivierkreeftjes en avocado (een waar kunstwerk op het bord), en de coquille met bloemkoolmousseline, zeekraal, beurre noisette en een vleugje krenten en kappertjes. Een mooi klassiek gerecht. Brasserie Jan in NH Jan Tabak te Bussum biedt een culinaire ervaring die de zintuigen prikkelt en de smaakpapillen verwent. De perfecte bestemming voor fijnproevers die op zoek zijn naar een gastronomisch avontuur.
