Premier Inn Cardiff Bay

I loved how convenienty located the hotel was to mermaid Quay. It was also located near to a bus stop which took us to the city centre. The reception was really nice :) there are some constructions going on so our room had the windows covered (which I didn't prefer) but it was still nice

Close to the Cardiff Bay area and a very short bus to the main city and Cardiff Castle. Breakfast was excellent (but no muesli). Rooms spacious but no fridge (I think that the UK don't do fridges) we did enjoy our stay and would fully recommend staying here. Car park is next door at a multi carpark which is subsidised by the hotel @ 25 - 30%.

Nice enough stay although nothing special Room was clean enough Check in took 45 minutes and was a shambles with only one key working. Not all the bar staff not sure if they had items on the menu and one was quite rude to his less experienced colleague. Not all items were available at breakfast at the time we ate.

Hotel is in a great location and parking is very easy with the large multi story car park next door. The rooms are the usual premier inn comfortable and I found them clean. Breakfast is very good and great starting at 6.30. My only grumble is trying to book a table for a meal in the evening. I stay here regularly and it is so difficult to get a table because the “other chef” is ill? After a 10 hour day all I want is a hot shower and an evening meal but it’s difficult to book a table here. Sad really as the staff really do try their best.

Stayed here many times previously, last night Cardiff was particularly busy and the hotel was fully booked - we were queuing out of the door to check in! 2 ladies on the desk who gave a standard apology but not particularly interested! Took 40 mins to check in, as usual the 3 check in machines in reception were not working which doesn’t help matters. Breakfast was at the usual standard but I do feel a little overpriced. Room was clean and considering it was fully booked we slept well. I like this premier inn and location with multi storey car parking right next door but the check in is always frustratingly slow

Staff friendly and helpful. Food is really good. accessible room is a really good size, wet room is great I must say the shower is amazing. over all our stay was very good.

This hotel is in a perfect location for the Millennium Centre.Our room was okay but corridors needed a good hovering.Had a drink in the bar when we came back from the show.The tables were full of glasses.Run out of beer and staff behind the bar chatting not a care in the world.Srayed in many premier inns but definitely wasn't the cleanest

Really not good. Only one person in the restaurant serving and one chef. A long wait for everything and was nearly turned away. For a premier inn this is the Worst one I have stayed in for the restaurant. Go to Sheffield Meadowhall and get some insight into how give great service on a small team.
