Overall, the room itself was excellent. It had windows on two sides, which made it feel bright and spacious, and there was also a balcony overlooking the waterside with a really nice view. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. One downside was the shower area, as it wasn’t fully enclosed, so water easily splashed onto the bathroom floor. The hotel overall was okay. Breakfast was quite basic with only a few options. Parking is available, but you have to pay an extra £10, which is worth keeping in mind. Check-in is at 3pm, which I found a little late, especially as a good part of the day has already passed by then. The biggest disappointment was the service at reception. When we asked about an earlier check-in, one of the staff members (Indian girl) was not very welcoming or helpful, and the way we were dealt with could definitely have been better. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, mainly because of the comfortable room and lovely waterside view, but the front desk service and customer care need improvement.

Great stay and fantastic staff ❤️ We had a wonderful stay! The reception team were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful throughout our time here. There is so easy and quick to drive to both Cardiff Castle and St David’s Car Park The room was very comfortable with excellent hot water in the shower, and the bed gave us a great night's sleep. Overall a lovely experience, thank you to the team for their warm hospitality👍🏻👍🏻

The room is quite spacious and comes with kitchen facilities; complimentary freshly ground coffee is available at your leisure. However, the breakfast menu repeats every two days and offers limited choices, so I wouldn't recommend eating there—it doesn't offer great value for money. On the plus side, the hotel hosts a complimentary afternoon wine and social hour—a service not found at other hotels—and the staff are excellent. Highly recommended!

Overall good, very spacious room. Cleanliness of room could be slightly better but overall good.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. Housekeeping was provided each but you have the option to cancel. The best part for is the location of the hotel. The hotel is located between Cardiff City centre and Cardiff Bay. You can get to both locations within 25 minutes or less. It was quite and peaceful. Would definitely return.

The location of this hotel is between Cardiff Bay and the city centre; it’s a 20 minute walk to each give or take. The studio flat concept would be great for someone here for work. Breakfast is pretty much the same as Holiday Inn Express. Overall this hotel is slightly better than that but not on the level of a Crowne Plaza or more premium hotel.

You cannot get a better property in the price. It was very comfortable, had all the amenities, and was truly amazing! Best IHG property I’ve ever stayed at.
