"Very disappointed with this hotel and was not cheap (RM 100++ per night). Hygiene are very bad ( was saw 3 life cockroach in the room). My wife was infection by the dirty towel. Whole body are itch and eyes was swollen. Have requested cleaning everyday but was not clean for second day day. After we ask at the reception to change towel and clean the room, they only send towel to us and the attitude was very rude for the indian women. We have checked out early one day and wasting money."

"Location wise, there are other hotels charging similar prices that are closer to the railway station and the ferry terminal. For the room I was assigned, it was spacious enough, but the bathroom is impossibly small. That was the reason I did not extend one more night. In fact, I was thankful I did not book 2 nights at one go. I also do not like the type of blanket used. I am not assured it was not used by previous guests. My room faces the road. But it was not noisy. I was able to sleep through the night. My window looked out onto the hotel's lighted signage Oh yes, if you are unable to climb steps, do not book this hotel. Rooms are situated on the 1st floor upwards. There are no ground floor rooms. My room was on the 2nd floor, and the water cooler is on the 1st floor, so I had to go down and up to refill my bottle. Even though trip.com had informed me there was a tax of RM2 to be paid to the hotel, the staff who checked me in said I need not pay for anything, but a deposit of RM20. When I bring bacj the aircon and TV remote control at check out, the deposit would be refunded. Yes, the hotel provide left luggage service. I left mine behind the reception desk after check out Pictures: 1&2: Small, small bathroom: it was impossible to open the door fully 3: the type of blanket used 4 - 6: The steps I had to climb to get to my room 7 & 8 : Nearby supermarket and laundry"

Our room was clean but the A/C was not cool enough, wifi slow and unstable, the water heater has to reset a few times to kick start, and there is only one electric socket, 2 if unplug the TV. Also we can smell cigarette smoke from next door all the time...."

"The check-in process was a bit complicated because there were no clear instructions to stop the car and register at the security post first. The security staff also had poor communication during the check-in process, which made things confusing. In terms of amenities, the lighting in the living room was too dim, and the water heater was not functioning. Because of this, we were unable to enjoy a warm bath during our stay. Anyhow, the place is clean and in good location to jalan2 around Butterworth or Sungai Petani."

"We recently stayed at this homestay with our family over the weekend, and overall it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is very convenient and easy to access, and the property itself is quite spacious, which made it comfortable for a family stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around and relax. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The mattresses were quite hard, which made it difficult for some of us to get a good night’s rest. Additionally, there were a number of unused tools and items around the house that were not properly stored, which made the space feel cluttered rather than welcoming. One major concern was finding leftover pork in the freezer. As Muslim guests, this was quite uncomfortable and felt inconsiderate. It’s important for hosts to ensure that the property is thoroughly cleaned and that all food items are cleared before new guests arrive, out of respect for different backgrounds and sensitivities. With better attention to cleanliness, storage, and guest considerations, this homestay has the potential to offer a much better experience."
