Capital O Hotel Dos Mares, Cabo San Lucas

I’m stayed in nicer backpacking hostels. One working electrical outlet. Bad Wi-Fi. Would not stay again.

The property was at one time very nice, unfortunately it has gotten run down. Our outside door had a one inch gap at the top and hung crooked. My husband showed the handy man how to fix the latch, they had the slider but nothing for it to slide in so the door opened when it was locked. The breakfast they advertise doesn’t happen. Most days there was no hot water, the on demand system wasn’t working properly, they fixed it and we had water for two days, then it went out again. We did our own housekeeping asking for things as we needed them.On the good side there were lots of patio space on the different levels. The location was good and we felt safe, staff was friendly but a real language difference so even telling them my wifi didn’t work, or my tv won’t work was hard to explain. Finally just read a book. For us we decided I guess you get what you pay for, but not what was advertised. Sadly I would not want to see the place close because the staff are very nice but it needs upgraded electrical, tv, and internet.

Great location for dining, shopping and Cabo Wabo!

Horrible. They try to get you at the main clubs like squid row and rip you off they will charge 20% on top of their overall price. Not to mention the area is ghetto and if you want to sit in the main area it’s only if you get a bottle. DONT DO IT. No vengan aquí se aprovechan de los extranjeros americanos y cobran 20% arriba de lo que debes. Mal Mal Servicio!!

The room smelled of mold and the sewer was back up in the shower. The fumes were unbearable. We had to switch hotels.
