The hotel is a resort, with a famous golf club and 7 restaurants of different styles, a sap swimming pool, slippers in the room, and the check-in and check-out times are not so strict. Breakfast is also rich!

Very nice hotel in that region. One of the best I've stayed. Facilities are complete. Only thing that shocked me was parking is not free.

Stayed at the Manor House Hotel as part of a deal to play golf and an overnight stay. As part of the deal we played golf on the 2010 course on the Sunday and the Roman Road on the Monday. The courses were not in good condition due to the weather, very heavy and fairways in need of cutting. Not the resorts fault but I would question whether they should be open. I was disappointed with both courses. The room in the Manor House was very clean and well presented and had a goods nights sleep. The water pressure in the shower was not great. The other gripe I have is that there was only one member of the reception team checking people into the hotel. Had the buffet meal in main hotel and this was fine, not the best and not the worst. It was ok. I think the highlight for me was breakfast in the Manor House. Lovely breakfast and really set me up for the day.

Celtic Manor is an amazing place and the views are stunning. Most importantly the staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond. The food was amazing and they covered all allergies plus a great selection for vegans and vegetarians. Everything was labelled easily enough for you to see So overall an amazing stay.

Everything about my stay from start to finish was delightful. The room, the staff, the food, the service, the atmosphere in fact all of it was perfect. The bed was enormous and so comfortable with enough pillows for anyones taste, the room was immaculately clean and my view from the balcony was lovely. I wanted to relax and get some quiet time and this was so good that I just did not want to leave. The Spa is worth a visit and Morgan my Therapist was excellent.

Excellent resort, lots to do, lovely pool and spa facilities. Huge choice of restaurants, food very good. Staff all very warm and friendly. Clean and tidy rooms. Everything you need. Balcony rooms look over the front aspect and part of the golf course.

Hotel rooms looking tired now. Paint flaking off in many places.
Be careful in the restaurant as they ask if you’d like some water and then bring spring water which is chargeable. Their latest trick at getting more money from you.
Also swimming is pre bookable, don’t know why as they introduced this after the first lockdown as part of social distancing.
