Location is perfect! Major attractions are within walking distance. Staff is generally friendly and it didn’t happen to us but there was a hotel guest who reached out to us in distress when we came back because her hotel card was faulty but nobody was at the concierge. We tried to help her call but to no avail as well. View from the hotel is amazing too.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's only a 5-minute walk from the pier and super close to the supermarket and shopping street. The balcony suite offers a stunning view of the ocean and the Ferris wheel.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right across from the cruise terminal, just a minute's walk away. You can easily walk to the night market, WWS supermarket, and the beach. It offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend booking a corner room for a 180-degree ocean view experience.

The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the terminal where all the trips leave and only 5 minutes from the night market.
I did have an issue with my first room: it was right next to the A/C compressor and the noise made it impossible to sleep. After I complained, the staff helped me move to another room, but I was disappointed that they seemed aware of the problem and only acted once someone complained.

We had an excellent stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. Max at the front desk was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. Mila was also wonderful and made us feel very welcome.
Our room was clean, spacious, and brightly lit, with a comfortable layout and a balcony that opened to lovely views. The location couldn’t be better: easy walking distance to major tour departure points, the Esplanade, and many great restaurants. The convenience of a self‑service laundry room was another big plus during our travels.
Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairns.

Had a wonderful stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city with easy access to the Esplanade, night markets, and fun attractions like the Ferris wheel. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Cairns so easy and enjoyable.

Location of the hotel is great and very convenient. The staff are friendly, towels were changed daily, and the pool was really nice. Overall, it was an excellent stay.
The only small issue was that when we asked housekeeping to change our bedsheets on day 4 of our stay, it wasn’t done and the bed was left as it was. Other than that, everything was very good and we enjoyed our stay.
