Gilligan‘s Backpackers Hotel & Resort

Overall, this hostel deserves 4 out of 5 stars. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the central location and the pleasant atmosphere. The common areas were also modern and comfortably designed. My only minor criticisms would be the noise at night and the somewhat small bathrooms in some rooms. Nevertheless, the stay was very enjoyable overall, and it offered good value for money.

The female dorm residents were very considerate. Everyone turned off their lights early to get ready for bed, and those who came back from parties didn't make a lot of noise while getting ready. The party sounds from downstairs weren't too loud and didn't really affect sleep, especially since there was a balcony separating us.

Excellent location for this large accommodation. It can get noisy due to the many guests and the entertainment at the pool and bar, but I absolutely loved it.

The hotel felt a bit old, but the location was super convenient, very close to the night market and shopping center! I'm not sure why they only provided a thin sheet and one blanket instead of a proper duvet like most hotels... The windows were old with a metal grill, and the bathroom wasn't a wet/dry separation.

This hotel's location is fantastic! It's on the same street as the train station, the beach, and a large supermarket. The front desk service was excellent, and they even have a pool. I initially booked for one night as a trial, and I was so impressed that I extended my stay for another three nights. I'll definitely be back!
