The room facilities were complete and clean, and the room itself was a good size with a balcony overlooking the pool below. The surrounding area is convenient, close to the pier, with parking available and many restaurant choices.

The environment was just so-so, and the price was way too high. The rooms are tiny, even the suites aren't very spacious. The sea view is nothing special. The pool was really dirty, full of sand on the bottom. Housekeeping definitely wasn't up to par, I do not recommend this place! The guy at the front desk was unhelpful and couldn't answer any of my questions. Plus, the balcony in the room is small, and they even charge extra for coffee at breakfast!

Great location, just across the road from the beachfront promenade. I really loved the modern, minimalist style of the hotel. However, room cleaning needs improvement. The Asian woman at the front desk was very cold and gave me a low-floor room, claiming all rooms were full. Later, I realized that Asian guests were generally assigned to lower floors. 😤

This hotel in Cairns seems relatively new, but it's not great value for money. I booked a sea view room, which was completely unnecessary as it overlooks a murky lagoon that exposes mudflats at low tide. The room was quite spacious, but it had a damp, musty smell. They only provide two bottles of water per day, and they're in glass bottles, which made me seriously suspect the staff just refilled them with tap water. If you run out, you have to go to the first floor to get drinking water, which also tasted like tap water. On the first day, the tissue box ran out after only two tissues, but thankfully it was refilled the next day. Breakfast is mainly Western style, and the location is convenient, as you can walk to restaurants, the wharf, and other places!

It's clear they treat Chinese guests differently. We were given a room on a low floor with a poor view, and there was no complimentary bottled water or toiletries. There were many hidden charges, and the price was exorbitant. I wouldn't recommend it.

The bed in the room was a bit small, and breakfast was quite expensive at 32 per person. However, room service was pretty prompt.
