Overall it is a very good hotel, just not worthy of 5*. Unfortunately, you pay this price for it. In exchange, you get the services of Hyde hotel (4*), the adjacent hotel which, viewed from the back, is actually the same hotel (swimming pool, restaurant, bar, breakfast, etc.). The Mondrian hotel has recently been renovated, which is certainly superficially visible in the bars, rooms and pool area. Only if you look in more detail, you will see that it was a renovation with a limited budget. The level of finish (shower, balconies, elevator, ..) leaves something to be desired. Access to the swimming pool is also in a strange way, via an emergency door at the bottom of the stairs, and the indication is not always very visible, and you will not find a plan from the hotel anywhere. One of the 2 elevators is also not working, so you have to wait a long time. In the beginning we had a problem with the reservation/room, but it was immediately resolved by the staff. In short, a nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, but pricey and in our opinion not immediately worthy of 5*.
