Schönes, modernes, sehr sauberes hotel an der Cala agulla. Büffet Abendessen sehr gut, sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer ausreichend groß. Ebenerdige Dusche! Guter spa Bereich.

Very friendly staff. Food was tasty and varied. Large groups of Germans. Tennis courts are often fully booked and cost €18 per reservation. Our neighbor received men in her room. Reported. Afterwards it was quieter but I had no compensation whatsoever.

The first impression when checking in was really positive. The whole place smells pleasantly fresh and the staff at check-in were very friendly. We experienced this friendliness throughout our entire vacation, whether it was the hotel manager (who introduced himself personally), the room attendants or the waiters. Everyone was super friendly and polite. The cleanliness of the whole place was also extremely good. The proximity to the beautiful Cala Agulla beach was great and the view of the sea was really great. Unfortunately, that's where the positive impressions end. A safe and bathrobes could have been rented for an additional fee. Not acceptable for us given the already very high price of the trip. The larger indoor pool and the spa can only be used by people aged 16 and over. There is an alternative option for children - it's called the children's spa, but it's actually just an outdoor paddling pool that's about 80 cm deep. For small children it's certainly better than nothing, but for good swimmers and my 6-year-old it's completely useless. In between you're just out of luck. There was no privacy on the balconies, you sit in full view of your room neighbor without any protection. The hotel is also unfortunately very noisy, I was woken up in the morning by the snoring of my room neighbor. The room doors themselves unfortunately do not close quietly, so you often get a good start when a door is closed in the hallway. But it would have been half as bad - if it hadn't been for the food. We found it very monotonous, there was very little choice and what was available was constantly repeated. Breakfast was OK, although we found the completely over-sweetened juices really awful. For dessert there were the usual sweets and really always the same fruit. The hotel is not cheap and we chose it partly because of the good restaurant reviews - but we were really disappointed! There were no local dishes, Serrano ham, good olives or good aioli. We ate out now and again, but unfortunately a lot of the restaurants were still closed because it was not yet the season. The hotel can't do anything about that. However, we were looking forward to a good and plentiful meal in the hotel, so it was probably the first holiday in 20 years in which we all lost some weight :-) The prices for drinks, both at the meal and in the minibar, were quite reasonable and not overpriced. I still don't think 4 stars is appropriate and I wouldn't recommend the hotel or book it again. I'm very sorry!

We have only been staying for two days. The hotel is renovated and is located in a spectacular setting on the virgin beach of Cala Agulla. The stay has been spectacular, all the services were perfect and the attention of the staff was splendid, and especially the Diector of the hotel.

We had been wanting to go to this hotel for a long time, which is located in an unbeatable environment, but the experience was not what we expected. The positive thing about the hotel: being able to go with our dog at no additional cost and the room, clean, with a good mattress and incredible views of Cala Agulla. From here on, everything else has been disappointing: children under 16 cannot go to the spa area, something that seems too rigid to me, in other hotels there are time slots, so we let the reception know and the deputy director. They offered us the spakids which for a 12 year old girl was frankly ridiculous, an 80cm deep pool full of screaming children from 2 to 5 years old. Restaurant issue, embarrassing having to wait 10 minutes in line to enter. About the food, the completely dry meats, the knuckle, the barbecue,... the best of the dinner buffet, the pizza. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The pastries, croissants, Neapolitans, ensaimadas... were typical from the bag, from the supermarket, nothing freshly made. Unacceptable in a 4 star superior hotel. The "European" breakfast, type bacon, eggs, sausages, etc... correct. Personal issue of the hotel, the "vigilante" of the spa, a zero in empathy and education. Special mention also for one of the restaurant waitresses, I think she was Italian, extremely unfriendly. Regarding the attitude of the management, which was based on some of our suggestions, I have to say that we found it superb. Conclusion, if what you are looking for is to spend a weekend with your family, at ease and with good trea**ent and good food, this is not the most recommended hotel. We have been to others of lesser category and much better.

I had booked five nights in a single room. After a warm welcome from N. and a glass of Cava, I was surprised when I entered the room: an upgrade to a double room, and to the top floor with a view of the forest/nature reserve and the beautiful Cala Agulla. Guided hiking weeks take place in a few weeks in spring and autumn. When I asked, I was given the option of booking by the day. That was perfect and the two hiking guides were wonderful. An hour before the end of the tour, the hotel had set up a stand with red wine, juice and coca mallorquina. Wow! At reception, they also helped me choose and book suitable excursions. In the spa area (contrary to some other reviews), everything worked. The whirlpool, sauna, etc. were all warm when I was there. So you can forgive the fact that the bathroom really did deserve a renovation (it was a bit old and it was almost impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom - despite the shower wall and curtain). The room was modern, though. The food, especially in the evenings, didn't impress me much on the first two days, but then it got better every evening, so that I was very happy with it in the end. The signs at dessert quickly become so crazy that you can't always tell what you're eating. But that's the biggest drawback. Highlights at the food: mini ensaïmadas and Mallorcan specialties at breakfast, freshly prepared tortilla wraps and the coca mallorquina. I had the impression that all the employees enjoyed their job and, above all, that they enjoyed doing it with their colleagues. The a**osphere among them was visibly good, whether it was the cleaning staff, the dining room or the reception - that's where you'd much rather be on holiday. As a solo traveler, I was always treated warmly and courteously. If the hall was full at dinner, the hotel manager or restaurant manager assigned seats - here they made sure not to give me or other solo travelers the unpopular seats (e.g. right next to the door), but also one by the window. I had a few nice conversations with other guests. I always felt comfortable in the common areas (bar, reception, spa).
