The best thing about this hotel is the bar /kitchen staff who are all hard working and cleaning staff who are up first thing in the morning to make sure hotel is clean. Nothing premium about the resort. Showers in the premium bathroom leaked over the side, making the bathroom soaking after each use. Our main shower head didn’t work so we had to use the secondary, small shower head. Our door to the balcony wouldn’t close properly making our nights in bed cold. There were some happy and helpful receptionists on arrival. However, there was a male manager who worked in the nights who was not welcoming and was also rude towards guests. He didn’t appear to enjoy his job. I paid for premium access to the hotel but all of the bars and areas which are premium access were closed for all of my stay. When the premium reserved pool was open, I had noticed guests entering who had not paid for premium access - the hotel should just remove the “premium” as all you are paying more for is a sun lounger. For the drinks, most of the bar staff would make good all inclusive drinks. But some cocktails are made from a machine which are tasteless. All guests have the same drinks so there is no point in upgrading and paying more. There is some sort of variety to the food but there is little taste and the breakfast makes you wonder why you got up for it. We missed the lunch for most of the holiday as it is very underwhelming. I have no criticism towards the restaurant/kitchen workers but they can only work with food that the hotel provide them. The Asian night was good with the serving staff trying hard to provide fresh food but it is very difficult to get a table as you will be waiting for at least 30 minutes in a queue of people! I decided to leave the queue on one evening and eat outside of the hotel due to the waiting times being so long. The restaurant is small and cannot cater for the amount of guests they let in. Guests would flood into the restaurant once the staff open the doors, making the atmosphere very stressful. We were often bumped into by people getting plates and looking for places to sit. The entertainment staff focus on children which is lovely for families but when it comes to other guests there isn’t much to do at all. You either try to catch some sun by the pool or go back to your room. For the night, if you don’t enjoy the set plan every week, you know you’re in for a disappointing evening. The entertainment is also aimed towards the Spanish and French guests, making it difficult to understand what was going on. During the spring season - there are no other areas for guests to sit, causing guests to go back to their room. There is nothing to do outside the hotel, apart from the odd pub. I had tried to explore but there are no shops open. I booked this holiday as a get away but truly wish I stayed home and booked an alternative getaway. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of booking. Look to spend your money at a more
