Hotel and Staff Me and the Wife went to the Palia Maria for my 50th Birthday and we had a great time. We arrived on thew 18th April very late with others on the bus and quickly were checked into our rooms. The Night Manager told us that he would open the kitchen as there was sandwiches there for us as it was very late and dinner had finished . The sandwiches we made ourselves and were basic but a nice touch from the manager. Our room was a premium room on the first floor with sea view. TBH there wasn't much of a sea view at that level but we couldn't complain about the room. Spacious very clean and all mod cons that we needed for our stay. We did however ask to be moved so we could get a better sea view. The Manager at night and in the Morning couldn't help enough and we got a move onto the 3rd floor end. The view was perfect. And the room after it was cleaned was spotless. Facilities. The facilities in the hotel I cannot complain about 1 bit. The premium area was spotless with plenty of space and loads of Sun loungers or premium beds to chose from. The view is fantastic with great views of the sea and Porta Cristo to the left. The only issue was the wind at times. But the hotel cant control that. Even though it was windy at times it was still really warm enough to get sunburned. There was a bar area which open about 1030hrs and served food and drink all the way up to about 6pm.I never had to wait to be served and the staff were very helpful and nice. Sometimes they also came around the Premium are handing our food or drinks which was a nice touch. Food The food was typical of Majorca hotel holidays. Loads of choice and generally hot. Because it was a buffet menu you could go up as many times as you liked to get food and we were never hurried to finish our food. There was also ample amounts of juice and alcohol to drink with the food. I had no complaints with Breakfast Lunch or Dinner. When it gets a bit busier during the season it may take a while to get in for food. But at most we had to queue for 8 mins to get a seat. As it gets warmer and the days longer more seating is available outside which we used for breakfast and lunch. So i would expect waiting times to be less. Entertainment. There seemed to be plenty to do in the hotel and the Entertainment team were always very enthusiastic keeping the kids entertained and the adults. We were there for a quiet birthday break so didn't really spend much time at night in the Entertainment area. But when we did there was always something going on and the guests looked happy. Location. The hotel isn't located in the usual busy *****s like some area's in Majorca but there is enough there to eat or drink out and to get some gifts for going home if you want too. The beach is a 5-10 min flip flop walk to the right along a cliff path with stunning views. There a 2 Inlets with 2 x Sandy beaches there and loads of loungers to rent. We decided just to sit on the sand and soak up the sun. Take some fo

My boyfriend and I were staying at Palia Maria Eugenia in mid april, and we loved it! The staff is so friendly, animation was so much fun (even for adults), and the food was good. We had a premium room, and the view was absolutely stunning. It was a bit cold and windy though, so I would recommend going there in the summer in stead.

The hotel was excellent room was spotless and modern cleaning second to none the food was first class with a brilliant choice at all 3 meal times staff all very civil and curteous and very helpfull pool area was brilliant plenty sun loungers great bar service with a brilliant choice of drinks all day long and a great snack service at the pool bar . The only complaint we have is that at evening meal time there was always a queue that was not in any way monitored and some people just thought it was ok just to push past the people who had stood in order these folks just seemed to appear from no where and just push to get in quicker mainly of french orogin.

Lovely hotel. The bedrooms are not 4 star but a very good 3 star. Food is excellent, providing both Spanish and European cuisines. Staff are so helpful and courteous. The grounds, pools are very clean. Then you have the entertainment. The team are 1st Class. They include everyone (that wants to be included), covering a range of popular themes and music. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The best thing about this hotel is the bar /kitchen staff who are all hard working and cleaning staff who are up first thing in the morning to make sure hotel is clean. Nothing premium about the resort. Showers in the premium bathroom leaked over the side, making the bathroom soaking after each use. Our main shower head didn’t work so we had to use the secondary, small shower head. Our door to the balcony wouldn’t close properly making our nights in bed cold. There were some happy and helpful receptionists on arrival. However, there was a male manager who worked in the nights who was not welcoming and was also rude towards guests. He didn’t appear to enjoy his job. I paid for premium access to the hotel but all of the bars and areas which are premium access were closed for all of my stay. When the premium reserved pool was open, I had noticed guests entering who had not paid for premium access - the hotel should just remove the “premium” as all you are paying more for is a sun lounger. For the drinks, most of the bar staff would make good all inclusive drinks. But some cocktails are made from a machine which are tasteless. All guests have the same drinks so there is no point in upgrading and paying more. There is some sort of variety to the food but there is little taste and the breakfast makes you wonder why you got up for it. We missed the lunch for most of the holiday as it is very underwhelming. I have no criticism towards the restaurant/kitchen workers but they can only work with food that the hotel provide them. The Asian night was good with the serving staff trying hard to provide fresh food but it is very difficult to get a table as you will be waiting for at least 30 minutes in a queue of people! I decided to leave the queue on one evening and eat outside of the hotel due to the waiting times being so long. The restaurant is small and cannot cater for the amount of guests they let in. Guests would flood into the restaurant once the staff open the doors, making the atmosphere very stressful. We were often bumped into by people getting plates and looking for places to sit. The entertainment staff focus on children which is lovely for families but when it comes to other guests there isn’t much to do at all. You either try to catch some sun by the pool or go back to your room. For the night, if you don’t enjoy the set plan every week, you know you’re in for a disappointing evening. The entertainment is also aimed towards the Spanish and French guests, making it difficult to understand what was going on. During the spring season - there are no other areas for guests to sit, causing guests to go back to their room. There is nothing to do outside the hotel, apart from the odd pub. I had tried to explore but there are no shops open. I booked this holiday as a get away but truly wish I stayed home and booked an alternative getaway. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of booking. Look to spend your money at a more

Hotel itself was clean with good rooms , we upgraded to premium but completely unnecessary, definitely needs a bar in the evenings where couples can sit have a drink from glasses not 1/3 rd pint PLASTIC BEAKERS and chat to other couples only bar to sit in the evening where you queue up for weak drinks is a bar where kids entertainment takes place really loud impossible to hear anyone talking. Only beer they serve is supposedly san Miguel. There are international brand spirits but these come at an extra cost of 3 EUROS. Meal times bit of a nightmare having to queue outside the restaurant area back up the staircase waiting to be called by someone on the door. Would not go back to this Hotel
