Hotel without great "pretensions" but the fundamental things are not lacking: cleanliness, tranquility, courtesy and proximity to the airport. The furniture is really minimal but it's ok anyway.

We expected the hotel to be basic, which it was, and our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately it was bad timing since we were there to sleep ahead of a very early morning flight, and other guests on our floor decided to go in and out of each other’s rooms, bang doors, talk very loudly and smoke heavily. We only managed to sleep for two hours.

ALBERHO ALLE PORTE DI Bolgna zona residenziale e tranquilla personale in front office molto gentile e accomodante ..per chi viaggia e deve prendere un aereo o comune alzardi presto per affari dirri che va benissimo letto comodo stanza molto minimal ma ha ciò che necessita appunto per soste brevi x lavoro ecc ..nn x stare se uno ha impegni diverso r vorrebbe dormire perché la mattina si sentono gli aerei molto ravvicinati e anche la porta del giroscsle che sbatte wuanfo scendo molto presto ..per questo dico che è perfetto per dormire e prendere l aereo il gg dopo o se uno è di passaggio..comunque con me sono stati davvero gentili..

The worst hotel service I've ever seen in life. Hotel staff are rude. Insufficient bays for breakfast even ask for an extra fee for cheese. The door of the rooms is problematic, the bathroom is problematic. The beds are especially low back pain. This is the first time I've seen the tour guide not have breakfast at the hotel.

Room was hot, air conditioning unit succeeded in blowing a tiny stream of cool air which did nothing to reduce temperature though the noise from the unit was helpful in taking my mind off the heat!! Bedding smelt stale and musty and definitely felt things jumping around on me - all in all an awful nights sleep and I couldn’t wait to get out of the room. Breakfast selection was also awful and all I could manage was a pack of biscuits!! Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed with

I was recently in Bologna on business and booked a room directly with the hotel via email. I was informed of the rate and I informed the hotel that I would be arriving late because of my flight. I did not receive a reply to this but assumed the room was booked anyway. I was not asked for my credit card details, but I imagined I could pay on site. Much to my surprise, when I arrived, no room was booked. I had to pay an extra €35 for a room at another hotel in the centre of the city and a taxi fare there of €24.75. When I asked the hotel for a refund of the taxi fare and the difference from the room at the Hotel Brianza and the one I stayed in, they refused and said that the staff had already gone out of their way to help me. Arriving in a foreign country at night and being treated like this is completely unacceptable and the hotel should be made accountable for the extra money I had to pay. However, I do not know who to complain to - any help as to how I can get the refund would be much appreciated!

Given that I have been frequenting Bologna very often for many years and have never had these experiences... I last stayed in this 3-star facility which, judging from the photos on the site, I expected better. Unfortunately, for a large price paid, we were assigned a small and not very comfortable room (a double room with an additional bed), dated furniture, a very small bathroom with a bathtub that was not very practical for taking a shower (at risk of "slips") , very uncomfortable bed and pillows, window without curtain to constantly keep with the shutter closed, empty minibar, very small TV screen (maybe 17") ... need I say anything else? A real disappointment!!!

Simple room furnishings with the necessary, very helpful staff. Clean room and bathroom. Too bad the curtain was detached in a corner. Excellent location for proximity to the airport and the arena. Comfortable bed. Self-service machines in common areas for snacks, water and coffee. I didn't use breakfast as I left too early. It's a shame that the elevators haven't been modernized. The look of the reception could be more welcoming with warmer colors and some plants

It is the first time that I have found the room assigned to me with the door completely wide open upon my arrival. Total lack of safety, cleanliness and service. Broken bathroom drain, blocked bidet. Completely empty minibar. Non-soundproof rooms with alarms at all hours from adjacent rooms. Indecent breakfast. Only positive element, friendly receptionist. What else? Totally inappropriate for the price.

We stayed for one night in this hotel only because of its proximity to the airport. The staff were very rude but the room was clean and basic. Excellent price. Too bad about the constant noise during the night which doesn't make you rest well.
