The location of the hotel gives you a clue and the triple glazing is needed. However I slept with my window open and had absolutely no problem sleeping for 8 hours. This will definitely be a marmite type hotel. I would certainly come back again. The people there are fantastic. The rooms are as you'd expect them to be and the 'breakfast to go' does the job. Use this place as a base to explore the area, not as somewhere to stay during the day.

We stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve, it’s not far from the centre of Huddersfield very handy for a night out or bit of shopping. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful, the room was spotless and spacious. Plenty of extra pillows and towels with a very comfy bed.

I was fortunate enough to be given a room on the opposite side of the building to the M62. My ground floor room (14) was clean and tidy with good (Free) WiFi coverage. No noise heard from other guests or the motorway. I stayed for 3 nights and ate at The Nags Head located on site. The food was fantastic, as was the service and staff, and good value for money. My only reason for a 4 and not a 5 rating is the disappointing hotel Breakfast. It's very basic and is available in the reception area. With limited seating, I took a coffee machine coffee and a pastry back to my room. The hotel definitely needs to come to an arrangement with The Nags Head. That said, I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely rooms, very clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Staff very helpful and pub and restaurant straight outside the door. Very nice location close to motorway but you feel like your in the countryside

This is our 3rd stay here. Cannot fault anything. Very convenient for the m62. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Nags Head next door is a lovely pub serving good food with a smile. The Toby carvery is a 5 minute walk away and serves a fabulous breakfast. Thank you.

Look at the site bedroom pictures in the ex Premier Inns colours and they have kept to the same excellent quality of rooms, bathrooms and standards. Very pleasant Reception staff, card operated room/ light entry to rooms. Free wi-fi in rooms, lovely bathroom, large flatscreen tv. Bed lovely and comfy with quality covers/duvet. The only downside was the continental style breakfast with no dining room - either go down early to eat in your room or take to your car. NB - Being a Premier Inn before the buy out as a Western, the Restaurant next door used to be the “go to” for your Full English Breakfast- all within the price We instead went to Toby Carvery for a Hot full English “eat as much” as you want self service - just across the large roundabout. Such a Shame nothing is being done.

I chose the hotel as it was well located being close to the wedding venue I attended on the Saturday. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
