Firstly upon our arrival our room wasn't ready, all inclusive you are given a plastic card in return at bar ur given a plastic glass with chosen drink, u must then return your glass in exchange with a card! (Wristbands easier)as a party of 4 we felt as all.inclusive we was looked down on, no table service unless your paying! After 11pm all Inc stops......$8.50 for a gin.....discusting in my opinion. There's an older bar man and the rudest man I've ever met! Reception staff not over friendly. Witnessed a toddler near drowning.....life guard was on his phone! Both pools are really cold! Rooms are dated but cleaned daily( cleaners where polite) food was okish...hotel was predominatly french and Germans whom were very rude and arrogant, not many English holiday makers. Entertainment was appalling and 1 evening it kicked off with families due to rude families standing infront of stage! Not many sunbeds for the ground pools we found out you have to que of a morning to get a bed the floor surrounding the pool is very slippy ( many slips and falls) lifts are really slow with 1ift broken for 2 dys. I would not recommend this hotel and wished I'd have read reviews prior to booking. Rooms also have no insulation could hear nxt rooms talking!

Basic hotel on Calella sea front and a bargain at 144 Euro for two nights half board for a single room Small room with a single bed, narrow balcony and reasonable size bathroom. Small pool and sun terrace and a restaurant with very small tables Staff were friendly and helpful, receptionist on arrival couldn't help enough, and an English lady in the restaurant called Debbie went out of her way to make me feel at home and offered her assistance if I needed anything. I increased my review score because of these nice ladies.

A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

It was our 5th time in this hotel. We have been very loyal to them for all these years but this time we were disappointed with all the changes they had made. The rooms were renovated and now there is a glass door in the bathroom that doesn't close. If you are staying by yourself it is alright but if you're with your family/friends it is extremely uncomfortable. The quality of the food went down. We stayed for 10 days and during this time paella had uncooked rice 3 days in a row. Also potatoes were not cooked properly for these 3 days. One of the waiters in the restaurant was quite rude. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine (which wasn't cheap). She brought it to us and left, without offering to open it. So we ended up opening it ourselves. The swimming pool area wasn't cleaned properly. Sometimes we would come there in the evening around 20:30-21:00 finding glasses/cups/rubbish/empty cans still sitting on tables since the morning. We used to like the children's mini disco that was after dinner but now they changed the time for 17:00 and do it in the basement, the room for kids activities looks so horrible and gloomy that nobody is ever there. The lady who was supposed to run it also didn't look enthusiastic at all. I don't think we will be coming back next year.

The best thing about going away from home is not having to worry about where you are staying and I was not dissapointed at all. The hotel is just as it is in the photos. Clean, plush and welcoming. We arrived late at night (20/10/23) after waiting 2 hours for our transfer then the travel from Barcelona to the hotel we were tired but welcomed by the wonderful night staff member I think his name was Thorko. He offered us something to eat and explained the hotel facilities. The pool is cold but once you get in its ok and it was fun seeing the look on peoples faces as they got in lol it was a conversation starter. The hotel is located on the beach and near the train station I actually think its the best part of the ***** 5 minutes from Aloha that does the best cocktails and night vibes. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast well I'm missing the breakfast 😀 cava with your freshly made omlette or pancakes, the fruit shots were delicious and how do they make mushrooms taste so good. Best bit was there were no kids!! I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, I must emphasize that it has always been my favorite coastal hotel. The cleaning is very good, and more attention is paid. It is worth mentioning that I went to all-encompassing, the bar waiters were very good, especially a young man named Harvey, who was very good! As for the food, it is obviously not 10/10, but for me it is the best hotel buffet I have ever been to (freshly made breakfast pasta is great), in addition there is a bakeware and wok area for you They prepared a lot of things like morning tortillas, meat, etc. Except for very friendly people like Mar or Araceli, I can't make any mistakes in the buffet area. mixed feelings on this one, you get what you expect from a 3 star hotel rooms - the rooms are small but fairly comfy and it gets the job done, shower could be a hit and miss, flooded bathroom on first day but after that no other problems. walls are VERYYY thin, very annoying when surrounded by teens as they just shout and play very loud music all night, but u can phone reception and security will come if needed. security is very nice, especially carlos! he is very sweet if you get the chance to meet him staff - reception staff is meh some can be quite rude and dismissive when you ask a simple question, but the bar and restaurant staff are very friendly! food - food again is a hit or miss, some days the food is very good (especially breakfast) but you may struggle if you are a picky eater, but they always have pasta and sauce/pizza. the desserts are very nice. all inclusive - all invclusive is decent, first day did have a bit of a struggle as they charged us for drinks without mentioning we had to put a deposit on a reusable cup even when asked multiple times and there is a list of drinks that are included in the all invlusive that we werent showed. all invlusive starts at 10am and ends at 11pm entertainment - entertainment is probably the worst part of the resort, they only have the ‘entertainment’ 4 nights a week, and when they do its just a ‘dj’ and you can only fully hear the music inside the bar so if u sit outside it does get a little boring, no childrens entertainment at all, theres no music during the day anywhere in the hotel so i recommend bringing a speaker. there is also a tiny tiny tiny area to dance in the bar. pool - the best part of this holiday was the pool, although they could put more sunbeds out as there are definitely not enough for the amount of people in the hotel. the water is nice and cool compared to the heat and is in the sun for most of the day so your not freezing in the water. there is a little kids pool connected to the main one. location - only a 10 min walk from the beach which is nice, wlthough the walk back is mostly uphill so bring a lot of water and a fan or it is basically torture, the main town is only 15/20 min walk away and it has a lot of good shops and food places, but does get very busy at the end of the day because of all of the bars and nightclubs! overall - wouldnt reccomend for a family and i personally wouldnt come back, but it was still decent for a budget hotel and bringing a friend did make it better as we made it fun. definitely made a lot of good memories!

The hotel is a bit out of the way from the center of Barcelona, ​​but you can take the R1 from the train station, which is about a 15-minute walk, to many of the main sites and attractions.
