Lovely hotel, exceptionally clean and the staff are lovely too, they even left a bottle of cava in our room on my birthday! The beds are the comfiest I have ever slept on in the whole of the Canaries. Entertainment is great as well, good to keep the kids amused. We will definitely be back here. WiFi is not great and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, a little tip is to open the bathroom and bedroom window, it allows the room to cool to a comfortable temperature. These are the only faults I could find in my time here, all the plus points certainly outway the not so good points, hence why we will definitely come back here.

After travelling to the Island for the last 14yrs we decided it was time to try a new hotel. San Jorge was recommended to us and what a great decision it was. We have been going there twice a year since. The location is amazing right on the beach front. The rooms and the hotel is kept spotless nothing is yo much trouble. The food and choice of it is plentiful there is lots of entertainment everyone night and entertainment going on throughout the day if you want to join in. The animation team do a fantastic job. The staff are all friendly and can't do enough for you. When in the restaurant for lunch and dinner it is waiter service with drinks and makes it feel more personal. I can say enough good things about this hotel we won't go anywhere else .

Don’t be fooled by appearances, this hotel is far from relaxing and clean. Rooms full of ants, especially around the kitchen area. The sofa covering is filthy and smells of stale sweat. The bed supplied for our granddaughter was very small and full of bugs she slept with us for most of the holiday. Reception staff not helpful asked for bug spay was told I could buy in the supermarket! Promised to send up housekeeping to have a look, if they did come they did not do a good job the ants were breeding in the room. Night entertainment consisted of people fighting, police being called nightly, we did complain, reception staff very unhelpful. There is definitely no duty of care to their customers. Would I stay again, or recommend yes if you like being in a dirty room, bite by ants, seeing police being called to arrest people nightly this is the place for you.

It’s grim. Photos on website nothing like the reality. In need of a total refurb. Food bland, lukewarm and the same day after day. Drinks poor quality … gin, vodka etc is 25% instead of usual 40% and has a chemical taste. No branded drinks. Rooms clean, but holes in towels? Really!!! All crockery in restaurant chipped. And awful sewage smell in bathroom. Staff generally ok, but there are a few who were unhelpful and surly. Only one pool area open. Rest undergoing work and far from being useable.

Just come back from a week here with hubby . Hotel is lovely ,1 of the pools is being updated and work being done on the outside entertainment area but did not stop us enjoying our holiday . The rooms are spacious and we had a sea view ,bed are really comfortable and the pillows,wish could have brought them home. Towel changes were nearly every day and if needed could request them . Food was lovely and plenty of choice for everyone. Omelets at breakfast was a great bonus . Staff all over te hotel were great especially the lady in the dining room ,sorry did not catch your name . Only complaint we had was having to wait till 3pm for room and not having slept previously it was a bit of a bug bare . Also no air con,Take a fan we did !!would we come back yes definitely. Just back from a lovely stay. Spacious room - cleaned daily. All staff really friendly and helpful - lots of varied activities by the pool throughout each day. Food was really good - and I’m a picky eater - lots of choice during all 3 meals and staff were straight over to take drinks orders for lunch and evening meals. Cocktails were great - wine was ok, beer not as strong as the local pubs but not really much to complain about. Dog and Duck pub at the entrance was really good - pool tables and reasonably priced drinks - their wine sizes were huge! A short walk into the town with a range of bars and eateries and a slightly longer stroll to the beach with a cute pizza bar with great views. All in all, a very relaxing stay. Thank you!

We’ve had an ok week here but reading the reviews definitely bigs it up! We were a bit delayed arriving and got here at 11pm and had a massive check in queue. The Welsh lady was working with a new girl so was visibly stressed. She told us we were lucky to get a picnic bag for a snack as the restaurant was meant to wait for us but couldn’t be bothered!! Picnic bags were bad too, so if arriving late come prepared! The room (2 bed apt with sea view) was nice but very dated. Maid kept it very clean. Safety box in room had to be paid for daily and purchase the key from reception so very old fashioned. The pool area is kept very clean, quite a bit of getting up at 730am to put your towels on a sun beds went on, perhaps as one pool was out of action and quite a bit of building equipment around. . With the amount of rooms this place has I should imagine in peak summer this could be a right issue. Restaurant was average, staff were friendly, plenty of choice but nothing exciting! We was all inclusive but didn’t eat dinner in hotel once as it was noisy and busy (and that’s June!!) Building works outside meant entertainment was inside which was quite crammed and noisy but drinks were good and staff friendly. Evening kids disco for us wasnt great. 8.30pm-9pm was it. So consisted of 2/3 songs and 10 min photo shoot with Pepe the mascot. Kids loved it but was over so quickly. Kids club in day seemed ok, ours went in supervised a few times, didn’t see too much going on but kids played with other kids! Play /park areas very very poor & worn. Entertainment was hit &miss some good nights some not so. But the male staff was very funny & made it. Beach 5-10 min walk if you go through shops and not along coastal path (nice walk but alot longer) . Town has plenty of shops & bats & beach is gorgeous. So we’ve had a nice time here but wouldn’t stay here again but it has been ok!

Hotel is OK, very dated but somewhere to rest your head. Food on the other hand wasn't very good, not much choice and we also caught the "chef" using same utensils to handle raw chicken and to give customer cooked chicken. After this we never ate there again.
