The accommodation needs updating and needs TLC until they get round to it. It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do.
Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds.
could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive.
It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them..
Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room.
I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again..

I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..

We are there this week. First the negatives - This is not beach front, you can see the sea but it's a 15-20 walk to a beach. The bathroom is shabby, small & dirty. The shower broke twice and flooded & the maintenance man trod mud everywhere. The outside is a building site so the coach dumped us in the next road to walk with our luggage. The breakfast is ok but the other meals didn't look or taste good. No hairdryer or iron. The good points - quiet location near a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely pool area with plenty of beds. Pleasant staff.

Hôtel dans son jus mais les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Espace piscine très bien dont une chauffée . Concernant la nourriture, il y en a pour tous les goûts, bien sûr ne pas s’attendre à un gastronomique, cela reste une cantine comme dans tous les clubs. Hôtel non bruyant et bien exposé car il se trouve près des commerces, bars, restaurants et non loin du port. Personnel agréable et en particulier à Louis qui nous a accueilli dès notre arrivée et à su nous donner toutes les infos nécessaires afin de passer une semaine agréable. Michel et Steph

Second time here after staying in 2017. Surprised to see exact same decor and furnishings meaning nothing has been updated in that time. However, clean enough with pleasant staff and decent enough choice of food. Downside was roadworks happening directly outside the hotel which affected water pressure. No fail of hotel though.

Happy with the experience we had for the price we paid. If you don’t pay for the Ritz then don’t expect it! Good points: - plenty of sunbeds - large rooms - quick service at the bar - 10 min flat walk to the beach/ town - no booming music playing 24/7 - staff were mostly friendly To be improved: - could be cleaner but nothing that major - may be a personal preference but not a fan of shower curtains, seems unhygienic - food was warm and plentiful but lacking much taste, good enough for standard Brits who don’t enjoy the local dishes - no real welcome, just a here’s your wristband and directed to the room on the map As I said, if you’re after a cheap and easy getaway this is a good choice. Nothing spectacular but a comfortable home for a week. Thank you!

Room was not whatbi booked . Paid extra for a poll view. Our view was of the front of other rooms , No 308 . Cooking needs serious attention . On too many occasions was still raw in the middle . I had a sausage for breakfast, it was still pink inside. I informed staff . Just said sorry but no attempt was made to check or remove the rest of the sausage's .

We had a great time at SMY Tahona Hotel, the location is great, the staff exceptional and helpful to us, the food was good the usual all inclusive and we have stayed in many hotel, the choice is very good, We asked for extra pillows delivered within minutes Over all a wonderful stay and so close to all amenities,
