Das Essen wiederholte sich praktisch vom 2. Tag an. Auch schmeckte alles Essen irgendwie immer gleich; Im Speisesaal war es immer sehr laut - wegen der Bauweise, nicht wegen der Gäste.
Das AI-Paket war auch nicht das, was wir uns idR darunter vorstellen. Auch das Nachmittagsbuffet war recht enttäuschend: Immer nur kalte Pommes und bleiche Hamburger, ausgelegt auf Zeitungspapier, dann ein paar Tortillas und selten mal ein eingepacktes Dreiecksandwich - immer mit S*****en. So ein spärliches, sich täglich wiederkehrendes Buffet haben wir noch nie angetroffen.
Das gebuchte "Superior Bungalow" entpuppte sich zwar als recht grosses Zimmer mit Koch- u. Essnische, aber unter Sup.Bungalow verstehen wir etwas anderes. Auch hatten wir gar keine Aussicht auf dem ohnehin viel zu kleinen Sitzplatz: Die einzelnen Wohneinheiten sind rundherum gebaut und die Sitzplätze sind im engen Innenhof: Wenig Sonne, als Aussicht nur die anderen Sitzplätze und 2stöckige Mauern rundherum. Kein Meer, kein Hinterland - wir hätten auch in einer Grossstadt sein können, Mauer an Mauer.
Und am kurzen Strandabschnitt, welches zur Hotelkette Barcélo dazugehört (links und rechts des Strandabschnitts je ein Hotes der Barcélo-Kette) und auch entsprechend beworben wird, wurden wir aufgefordert, für die Liegestühle zu zahlen. Wir zeigten unsere AIl Inclusive - Armbänder, aber: Die Liegen gehören nicht zum All Incl. Paket...
Fazit: In dieses Hotel werden wir nicht bestimmt nicht mehr einchecken.

Fastest check-in ever. Good directions to the bungalow. Easy to move round the buffet restaurant good variety of fish every night. Good variety in the morning. Lovely omelettes. Nice pool sea breeze. Had a good relaxing holiday.

Poor position for an elderly couple. Overlooking the Barcy club and water park. Opposite the recycling storage facility which was emptied every morning g at 5am!. Kitchen smelt so much I had to buy cleaning products and try and clean it myself

Amazing experience! Not my first time on the island or staying in Caleta as my Nan is a resident but it was my first time staying at the Barceló. It certainly won’t be my last! From arrival to checkout and everything in between was perfect. We stayed in room 4162 which was a first floor sea view and was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t have been any closer to the beach. We personally didn’t have any experiences relating to the negative comments, it was all very clean and well maintained. Thank you to everyone at the Barceló Castillo, we will see you again soon!

Il resort è composto da piú strutture che si dividono ristoranti e servizi. L'impatto visivo è piacevole, la spiaggia è bella come lo sono le piscine ma ingenere anche gli altri divertimenti come i campi da padel o il minigolf. Ero in un bungalow con 2 camere da letto belle e pulite... qualche insetto di troppo ma ci sta... bagno non bellissimo che si tende ad allagare facendo la doccia. Pecca piú grande i ristoranti a buffet che lasciano un po' a desiderare per l'aspettativa di qualità che una struttura del genere crea. Il costo sarebbe stato un po' alto per la stagione se fosse stato solo per la camera... ma ad una cifra di poco superiore abbiamo aggiunto la mezza pensione e cosí è sicuramente corretto. Abbiamo chiesto di posticipare di un un paio di ore il checkout e ci stata chiesta una somma di 25 euro che non ritengo corretta. Altre catene per i loro membri forniscono gratuitamente la stessa opzione.

Very nice location, pleasant atmosphere, not overcrowded, delicious food, even i was dissapointed by the kids place being closed, my kid loved it there
