Overall it was a great stay! We went to the Flames game which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I was worried about the homeless situation based off the reviews I read but the hotel does a good job with safety by locking the outside doors and can only be accessed with a room key or with the hotel letting you in. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were quite nice and friendly, the area itself seemed a little sketchy but i think it’s just because it’s near the last free train stop and the drop-in, the free train stop could be a plus though!
It is a pretty good destination to walk to places from and it’s not far from the The Dome so it would probably be a good place for stampede as it’s also near the studio bell and the library. The walls are sooo thin, so all of the noises were a little annoying. All-in-all it was okay. If you want somewhere just to sleep and not to indulge in amenities you should be fine!!
