Azor Hotel Cali Versalles

My experience at the Azor Hotel was nothing short of amazing. If I were to describe the staff in one word, it would be: Familia. They were the highlight of my stay and for that reason, I would return to Cali, Colombia in a heart beat. This was a last minute trip for me as I flew from the British Virgin Islands to accompany a family member for medical reasons. The hotel was aware of this and immediately made me feel recognized and at home upon my arrival. Azor Hotel has a great relationship with the nearby medical facilities so I felt assured that my family member and I would be taken care of. Check-in was smooth. There was a language barrier (understandably so), however, the team was very proactive and helpful with translating. I think it's safe to say I learned a lot from them and vice versa! Ellos me ayudaron y yo los ayudé :) The rooms are clean and comfortable and the housekeepers did an excellent job with servicing regulary. The same goes for the team at the laundry -outstanding job. All the housekeepers I came across were very friendly and made sure to check-in with me and how my family member was doing. This really meant a lot to me. Breakfast was 10/10 everyday. I genuinely enjoyed learning about and indulging in Colombian cuisine which Diego would proudly let me know about. Diana was a sweetheart - always served with a smile. They also remembered my name! That says a lot considering how many people they come across on a daily basis. Obviously they put a lot of love in the kitchen because lunch and dinner meals were also very delicious. My favorite was the fillet fish that came with plantain chips and salad! The mango juice was really good too. It literally tasted like biting into a mango back at home. Very natural and tasty. I was on the 10th floor so it was relativly quiet from my room. The view was beautiful especially at nights when the skyscrapers are all lit up. It’s location is ideal because there is nearby medical facilities, a pharmacy, the famous (and huge) Chipichape Mall about 7-10 drive away and if you need to make international calls, you can take a short 3-5 minute walk to Copy Center Versalles (across from the pharmacy) and pay a reasonable price for minutes - grateful for the front desk team for suggesting this to me. You get value for your money when you stay at Azor Hotels. The hotel staff was helpful with arranging safe transportation, too. There is a lot to see and experience in Cali and this is truly the perfect place to start. I want to say a special thank you to Marleny Rojas who left a very positive note in my room after attending to it the day prior to my departure. It tells me that there is a genuine passion and care in the work that the team does and that is truly the heart of what hospitality is about. They stayed aware of my reason for travel and made sure to let me know that they cared. Muchas gracias! Would highly recommend!

My stay was nice. However, the more you pay for the room the happier you will be. I stayed 3 weeks and every week I got a new room. Upgrade to suites or top floor it’s worth it.

This hotel is a disaster. The sink water tastes awful. The bathroom window is broken. The bathroom is filthy. There's no hot water in the shower. The sheets smell bad and the bed is rock hard. The AC doesn't cool the room. The furniture is very old. The staff has a bad attitude and very little motivation to work. There are only two very rough towels. The lighting is very poor and, finally, there isn't a single decorative touch. Horrible.

one of the best experiences while in Cali, super friendly and accommodating staff, very clean and spacious rooms. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good, the location is ideal, and the price for the stay is very competitive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cali.

And let's start with the fact that I was staying at the hotel in the evening, there was no one, there were no lines, but I was forced to open two suitcases to find my passport. I did this for a very long time, to close the suitcases, I waited for a very long time for someone to lift my suitcases. Up. I booked a Junior Suite room. And it was terrible, a very dirty jacuzzi. If you want to invite someone to visit, then each guest is charged 75. This is about 20-something dollars. Just for a person to come to visit you is outrageous. I have no words for how outrageous this is.I had a US ID in my purse and could easily show it later. When I was settled in the room, I could show my passport, but they refused to accept the previously agreed amount in dollars.Although we agreed on such payment terms via WhatsApp, I didn't have time to change dollars into pesos and I didn't have a credit card with me.This is the first hotel in Colombia that is so terrible in its attitude towards guests that I am changing the hotel urgently and to another one.

The staff and administrators at the hotel were very professional, kind and friendly. They attended to all my needs, The rooms are very comfortable. The AC is super cold and there is plenty of hot water in the shower, The food at the hotel restaurant and service was simply AWESOME!!!!! 5 Stars for sure!
