The Inn on Pine

What we liked most was the placement of the Inn. Close to town but far away enough to be secluded. The spa and pool at the rear of the establishment made it quite and peaceful

This is the best hotel experience we've had in the Bay Area in the past 10 years. Our room was large, very clean, reasonably priced and the bed was comfortable (nice linens too). The bathroom was large, with a rainhead shower and double vanities and the complementary breakfast was left in our fridge overnight, with a minimum of fuss while the patio area was renovated. And we got the most genuinely warm welcome we've had in ages upon arrival; rather than just being handed a set of keys and the bill. I wish more places were like this. If we visit Calistoga again, this is a no brainer for us.

The check in desk people could not have been nicer and more helpful, from providing extra amenities to the room to helping us understand the layout and how to get around Calistoga by providing maps and recommendations. The pool area was clean and a hot tub was available. There is outdoor seating by each room and around the parking lot which is nice for sitting out for lunch and for sitting with friends for after dinner drinks. (We did both). We had no problem parking - even if you park in the back it is a short walk to any room. Room had a nice small stove for chilly evenings, a good size fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. The Inn is older and run down somewhat, but mostly clean. The breakfast is outdoors but if it is cold there are heaters, so no issue. A basic breakfast. Not many choices for cereal, no waffle makers, but what was there was fine and very convenient to rooms. If you want more for breakfast, Calistoga has some wonderful choices. It is easy to walk from The Inn to the main street in town, less than 2 full blocks. But the walk is worth it due to passing by many homes with beautiful flowers and shrubs. Only con: If you are staying overnight that includes a Sunday night to Monday morning, note that the street cleaners come by at 5:30 a.m. and are very loud. They will wake you up if you are in a room closer to the street.

A good place to stay to explore Calistoga. Walking distance to downtown. A good breakfast to start the day. A Nice pool area to relax at the end of the day.

The staff is incredibly attentive and lovely. I never felt like I was at a hotel being serviced, more like I was with a family friend. And the daily cookies were an added bonus. The actual accommodations were okay. Nothing too amazing. The pillows did not agree with my neck ever. And mostly for the price I was expecting a little more but maybe that’s due to my lack of experience in Calistoga economics.

Very quaint update to this motor Lodge love the amenities of pool, hot tub and sauna the breakfast area with fireplace with home baked cookies in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Made this an enjoyable stay the gas fireplace in the room was a nice touch staff was friendly and property was very clean, I would stay there again

Valerie was so kind and helpful. She stored our cake that was delivered before we arrived for my husband's 50th birthday. She offered to give us candles. There was a card and chocolate waiting for him in the room. The pool view was amazing! It was close enough to walk to the main street but far enough away from the all the foot traffic. This was a fantastic trip and I would definitely recommend this beautiful Inn to people.

Had a great stay and would highly recommend. Rooms are a bit dated, but very clean, good products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion), large, have gas fireplaces, and robes. Great location on quiet residential street, quick walk to restaurants and shops. Cookies on arrival, good breakfast. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. There is a pool and hot tub-and unlike so many hotel hot tubs this one is gloriously hot. If I’m back in the area I will definitely stay again. And all this for an extremely reasonable price

I accidentally discovered this sweet, peaceful place, 2 blocks off the Main Street. NOW, I’m a REPEAT customer! The breakfast, COFFEE, sauna, hot tub, swimming pool, private bathing area & excellent, semi-shaded parking, very close to my room allows for a Quiet Retreat! Oh, boy! Did I get a lot done.
