DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I BOOKED 2 ROOMS THEN NEEDED TO CANCEL ONE WHICH I WAS PROMISED A REFUND .WHEN I ARRIVED I ENQUIRED WHEN I WOULD RECEIVE IT, TO THE RESPONSE “ YOU CAN’T GET A REFUND “ ( WITH AN ATTITUDE ) I HAVE PUT A COMPLAINT IN BUT THEY ARE STILL REFUSING ME MY REFUND!!! ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. STAFF ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Margaret who was doing the Breakfast Buffet on Sunday 25 February 2024 was so good at keeping the restaurant well stocked & tidy. Plus the ladies at reception well very friendly & accommodating. Thanks

We found the hotel very clean and tidy all the staff were friendly and very helpful our room was on the ground floor over looking the canal and towpath very quite and peaceful no net curtains on the window so if you left the main curtains open people could see straight in .Room was clean coffee and tea provided but no biscuits. We did not have breakfast in the hotel went next door to the noble comb pub half the price very nice overall we enjoy our stay thank you ibis

We had a good nights sleep. Had breakfast and a snack. Shower was good. We were happy with everything. The staff made the stay easy by being friendly and helpful

I can’t rate the service as we didn’t really get much with a basic check in and key deposit box on checkout.
Our room smelt so badly of stale smoke I had to open all the windows which meant the room was cold and I couldn’t put the heating on as my daughter’s bed was wedged up against it. The floor was so grubby I didn’t take my socks off!! Not great for the price I’m afraid

We found the hotel to be clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. No shampoo in the dispenser but not a big problem. We didnt think the breakfast was worth £12.00 though as some of the food was a bit hard and dried out. Would stay here again but go elsewhere for breakfast.
