We stayed at Sao Bien for a week and loved every minute. Rooms are rustic, but cleaned regularly. The facilities are ample and well maintained. There are so many things to do, from swimming in the ocean / pool, sliding down the slides, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, sunbathing, or just relaxing on the beach. The food is delicious. Eric and his family and staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly recommend Sao Bien for families with elementary aged children who love to be outside. The only downside is that it is a little remote, so it helps to have your own transportation. Although the hotel does provide taxi services.
