Hampton Inn & Suites Camarillo

The façade of the hotel is in harmony with the outlets on the opposite side, with pale yellow walls and orange roofs. The first floor is the front desk and breakfast room. The room size is good and the facilities meet the standards. It is very convenient to walk in front of the door. Drive to the outlet for 5 minutes, it will be more difficult to pass without a car. The shortcoming of the hotel is that the breakfast variety is a little bit less, the others are good.

Best western is a very good quality hotel chain with a full range of facilities, including a restaurant, laundry, gym, and free parking. The entire trip lived 5 to 6 Best western, and overall there was no disappointment. The only downside is that the air conditioning sound is too loud, but this seems to be a common problem in American hotels. This restaurant is small in size but the waiter is warm. The location of the hotel is hard to find, and it looks a bit old compared to other Best western. About 10 minutes drive from Camarillo Outlet.

This hotel does not enforce masks, will threaten to charge you $250 for smoking ********* OUTSIDE, and will double charge you without telling you. I was double charged my stay, when I checked I paid $750 cash, yet the day after my card was charged $750. When I went to the front desk they said, “ we were waiting for you to come to us “ and gave me a code I could give my bank. They should have told me immediately, you don’t charge someone’s card $750 without saying something... it’s not like it’s $20. Me and my partner smoked outside in the designated smoking area, and when we came back inside some girl knocked on our door and said “ My manager will charge you $250 for **** smell, so here is this spray.” And ran away. Why would I be charged $250 for smoking OUTSIDE? AND WHY ARE YOU COMING TO MY DOOR PAST MIDNIGHT, BUT YOU COULDN’T TELL ME YOU DOUBLE CHARGED MY CARD? I was already over my stay due to this irritation, and on the day I checked out the hotel staff had the audacity to ignore mask regulations. As I was checking out at the front desk, an older woman came up to the teller next to me with no mask and a holding her shirt to her face. The teller helped her without saying anything, so I said “she doesn’t have to wear a mask?” BOTH TELLERS IGNORED ME. I said excuse me, and she said the shirt was fine. I said that’s not what I asked. My teller said “we try to enforce like 95% of the time, i can call her room”. This was bs, I saw other people in the halls with no mask and I was wondering why they were so comfortable. It makes sense now, since the check-in desks were not even enforcing properly.   I will never be staying here again, and I hope you don’t either. I stayed at this hotel for six nights, and checked out March 27 2021.

Typical HIE, nothing great. First when checking in, my profile which specifically asks for a room located near the elevator (and even though I'm a Spire Elite) the front desk clerk never acknowledged my status and proceeded to give me the furthest room from the elevator which was quite far away at the other end of the building. I think he was traumatized by Covid-19 as he was totally PPE'd up including ridiculous looking snorkeling goggles. The room was decent but many electrical outlets didn't work and overall the room was quite dark unless you went around a found all the ”mood” lighting space around the room. The bathroom has the most pathetic water spout in the sink, the kind you get in the airports that supposed work when you put your hands underneath. It didn't work well and came out in FULL force that you couldn't adjust. So if you want to brush your teen, you have to wave your hand underneath the spout, hope it ”senses” the movement and then the water blasts out and maybe it will get warm before it shuts off. It's the most poorly designed faucet I have ever used, one absolutely nobody would have in their home and most certainly should not be in the hotel. Pathetic.

There is a swimming pool, it seems that there is a small hot pool, there is an elevator, the room is old but the management is relatively standard and clean. Good breakfast, homemade waffles and beef burgers, a better grade than the motel's breakfast.

A few minutes drive to Ole, the room is big. It’s just that the air-conditioning host looks like it’s in the room, the sound is too noisy, and at night I don’t dare to sleep, no shower caps. These two seem to be the common points of American hotels. Also, booked more than two months earlier, and later suddenly found that the price of the ticket user is 200 cheaper than my order, but unfortunately can not be retired, white card for my ticket users.
