The boss is very nice, amiable, enthusiastic, hygienic and very clean. The boss also cooks a hearty breakfast and eats it. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. The pillows and quilt covers are brand new! Will book this again next time!

We popped in to grab a drink and listen to the music on Trevithick day. Busy little pub with pool table, Parrot and a good pint. We ordered a pint of Madri and a bottle of smirnoff, well priced. The tables were pretty much full including one with a very loud sweary local which sort of spoilt the vibe, still he looked like he was enjoying the company of his own voice 😄

I liked the bathroom and convenience, they were very clean. I did not like the smell in the room and also the bed sheets needs to be changed as soon as an occupant checks out.

The rooms are above a pub but I must say it wasn’t noisy. The carpets, fireplace, ledges and edges all dirty with dust and grime. Many grimy corners as well. Smells funny as well. The day I arrived I was so embarrassed I started looking for another hotel but none was available at that short notice .
The breakfast was also the worst. Don’t let me get started on that. One star hotel. I wish I can get my money back
Place needs renovations and modernisation. Shared toilet but it was clean. The overall smell of the place is just not good
Needs airing out. And please don’t try any adult stuff on the squeaky beds. Tip, lay the pillows on the floor
