⭐☆☆☆☆ If hospitality were the only metric, Zenia Hotel & Spa would be thriving—because the staff are genuinely welcoming, friendly, and doing heroic work in what can only be described as a sinking ship. Sadly, smiles alone cannot save this hotel from being a full-blown disaster. Let’s start with the spa. I confidently pulled up my speedos, mentally rehearsed my Olympic-level diving techniques, approached the pool… and noticed one slight issue: there was no water in it. Not low water. Not “temporarily unavailable.” Just a large, tiled hole filled with broken dreams and echoes of what hydration used to mean. The main reception deserves its own warning label. The moment you walk in, the smell hits you—an aggressive, unforgettable stench best described as zombie apocalypse. Imagine damp socks, despair, and the end of civilization having a group hug. That smell filled the air like it was part of the hotel’s signature experience. After a long journey, I reached my room and was immediately greeted by the welcoming stains on the carpet—a bold design choice that really sets the tone. There was also an unmistakable feeling that something was missing. That mystery didn’t last long. The missing items turned out to be pillows. Because after a long trip, who really needs those? The room was thoughtfully replenished with everything required to make a lovely cup of tea or coffee: cups, sachets, sugar, milk… once again, however, one small yet relatively important item was missing—the kettle. A true exercise in imagination-based refreshments. The rest of the hotel follows the same theme: tired, neglected, and seemingly frozen in time right before renovations were seriously discussed… and then abandoned forever. Calling this place a “spa” feels optimistic in the same way calling a shopping trolley a Ferrari feels optimistic.

Very good. Spacious room, tea and coffee. 3 arm chairs. Large bed. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Unusual location in a shopping centre. Chinese buffet next door. Swimming pool out of action, but sauna and jacuzzi available.

Comfortable stay Our second stay & we enjoyed the large room, comfortable bed, & a swim in the indoor pool. The staff are very friendly, efficient & helpful. The check in time is 5pm.

Very off after hours check in process. The place was really dark and locked up. Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. Plenty of parking, but dark area with very little lighting after hours.
