Cambridge Bar Hill Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Room was cold. Coffee stand in room wasn’t clean. Stayed here before and everything was good. But this time unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied.

The hotel is clean and modern the staff are all super friendly the rooms are a very good size

While the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property. They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately. The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing. Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.

It was very convenient hotel to stay after spending the day in Cambridge. Very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was outstanding. Parking was easy and reasonable.

If I could give this place zero I would. From the moment we walked into book the person on the desk appeared they could not be bothered. It took a while to get the details then off to the room. The room was something else - it was adjoining another room with the only safety feature of a flimsey bolt! Not good! I moved the chair by the door only to then find dirty underwear underneath! I went back to reception to change my room which the desk attendant took forever to do and put me in another part of the hotel - bingo I thought but how wrong was I. On walking to the room I passed a few groups of lads with their doors open but thought nothing of it. On arrival to my new room, No adjoining room but at 1245 I was awoken to banging down of my door and someone trying to get in! No sleep for me! In the morning the receptionist just shrugged their shoulders which makes me think this is the norm here! Avoid if you can or book at your own peril !

We came here on a two night break had a lovely welcome, our room was very big and the bed comfortable. The staff in the bar couldn’t do enough for you so welcoming,we got the bus into Cambridge no problem had a great stay

I just want to say that I had one of my best weekends with my family at the CAMBRIDGE BAR HILL Hotel in March 2026. A really memorable stay. I would like to thank all the staff for their most amazing welcome to the three of us, but especially to my two year old nephew. We cannot wait to return as your guests again. A very special thank you to Elia, Stefan, Tom, Sally and Peter. You have no idea how many memories you helped us make. My nephew was new to the hotel experience, but I can honestly say that he had the time of his life exploring. Thank you to each and every one of you for making the three of us so very welcome. I had not noticed there was a £5 charge for car park. I feel strongly that unless the car park is shared or owned by another firm, the cost of the car parking should be included in the price. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so 95% of guests will have a car. It should be included in the cost and not hidden as an extra. There are two check in pads next to the car park payment kiosk. I tried three times, with two different cards to use the first machine & also pressed the "help" button which promised a member of staff would come to help. Nobody turned up so I tried the other machine which did work ok. I turned and walked 10 yards & there was a reception desk with a young lady hanging around behind the counter. Why subject guests to self check in when the receptionist is at her desk and why did she not come to help when i pressed the help button? I stayed on a Thursday night & the bar was like a morgue. Not a sole to be seen
