Holiday Inn Express CAMBRIDGE by IHG

I stayed in Holiday inn during March in room 046. It was a very clean room on arrival with twin beds and a bigger than expected bathroom. It had a good shower with Dove washes. It was a 45 min walk from the Centre of Cambridge along Mill Road or you can get the No 2 bus that costs £3. It was a pleasant walk. The reception staff were very helpful and check in was quick. The room had a good temperature and it was cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a kettle, TV and an iron. The breakfast area was very busy in the mornings. The hot breakfast was ok. The Coffee was Ok there were a range of pastries and muffins all Ok. There were a lot of poor behaved people with a lot of ill behaved children in the breakfast area. Overall I had a comfortable stay. The room itself was very quiet. The images provided are of the room and view from the window, the walk to the hotel. I hope they are helpful.

Apart from location, good to stay hotel 🏨

Hotel is not in the city but parking is not expensive (6 pounds)

near univesity.. and cambridge so beautiful.. easy parking near hotel and breakfast very good

The hotel room is spacious, clean, and meet standard expectations. However, the location is a bit far from Cambridge city centre, and public transport is not very convenient. It requires a 10-minute walk to reach the nearest bus stop, which was difficult with our two large pieces of luggage. We ultimately decided to take a taxi instead.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff was okay, but I was disappointed with the breakfast options. There were limited gluten-free choices, and when I asked for fried eggs, I was told they don’t do that. There were no gluten-free croissants or cakes, so I ended up just having coffee and something very small compare with other people.Overall, I didn’t feel the breakfast was worth the price

We stay one night after spending full day in Cambridge. Room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was outstanding, with a lot of options. Carpark was very reasonable. The path near the main entrance take you to a nearby brook which is a real bonus if you want to go for a nice walk. Overall, it was a great stay

It is a nice hotel around 15 minutes away from the town centre. No supermarket or fast food shop within 10 minute distance. But good enough to take a rest. Very close to the airport.

Perfect location, easy to drive to. Walkable to the city centre in about 40 minutes but can also hop on a bus within 10 minute walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Free Breakfast included which was lovely, hot or cold breakfast, tea, coffee, orange and apple juice! Will definitely be on my list of hotels that I would return to in the future.
