This is the second time I have stayed At Hidden Lark Hotel & Apartments, this time we had the kids in tow and we were lucky enough to be in a 2 Bedroom Apartment. The service at Hidden Lakes is consistently fabulous! The 2 Bedroom Apartment was amazing and perfect if travelling with Family, or if 2 work colleagues are travelling together. The breakfast was delicious as usual, nothing is ever a problem for the staff there. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Since we discovered Hidden Lake in Cambridge it has become our "go to" hotel in the Waikato. Convenient location within easy walking distance of the town centre. The friendly, professional staff seem to genuinely appreciate their guests. Rooms and bathrooms are always clean, beds very comfortable (lots of pillows) and amenities such as Zeelong tea and Nespresso coffee machine provided. Dinner in the restaurant is always good. Menu selection is good. Food is always tasty, fresh and well prepared. Restaurant prices are reasonable. Breakfast, which is included, is the same, a varied selection, cooked and presented well. No hesitation in highly recommending this hotel. Oh, I omitted to mention the free parking, right at the door!

My hotel stay was exceptional from the modern room, the view from my room overlooking the hidden lake, the convenience of the location to visit Hobbiton, the delicious food in the onsite restaurant and the friendliness of the staff and owner.

Totally surprised how lovely the place was, well located with a few places to eat and just across is Woolworths. We liked the room, very clean and so was the bathroom. We had the park view from our balcony so it was lovely to just open the door to get some fresh air and have some privacy.

Excellent stay/service and communication. Friendly and helpful staff. We required additional assistance and the team at Hidden Lake went out of their way to help us. Good location, near restaurants and lake. We can highly recommend to all travelers.

We loved our stay at the Hidden Lake Hotel. We had two double beds which was enough for our family of four. We had breakfast included which was delicious, especially the full breakfast and French toast options. It’s not a busy hotel and liked the quiet. There are lots of dining options for lunch/dinner in the area and grocery nearby (walking distance). They even have a private hot tub which can be booked. Would definitely stay here again in Cambridge.
